What happenes when you use a LR Cartomizer on a Standard 510 battery?

I am completely out of regular cartomizers and am waiting for my Ego kit to arrive. I did get my order of LR 510 cartomizers. Getting ansy I filled up one of these LR cartomizers and used it a couple of times on my standard 510 battery. If I continue to use it this way what problems will eventually occur? Will the carto simple die faster, will the battery simply get defective, or could something serious happen?

Nothing serious will happen. It will just kill the battery faster or possibly kill the MOSFET switch and make the battery non-functional. It seems to be hit and miss and unfortunately the eGo has the same switch.

I did for ages. It did cut down on battery life significantly, and when natural battery wear and tear started coupling with LR battery draw, leaving me with 15 minute batteries (!!!), I finally bucked up and got an Ego.

Been using a 510 mega battery with 2.0 ohm cartomizers for 2 or 3 weeks (I burnt out both of my atomizers then). No problems so far.

Got a Riva and some clearomizers coming in the mail

If you feel the main body of the battery start to get warm, stop immediately.

To be honest, I strongly advise against doing this since it may actually cause the battery to overheat and vent... but there are those who have done it without incident.

Ditto on using LR carto's on the 510 mega (280mah)

I have been doing so for weeks with no probs... Bat. seems to be working just as it was with normal cartos.

That's pretty much like a standard Joye 510 atty. No big deal.
