Good deal gutter but I'm not sure if I want one or not and I'm trying to not buy anything for a while. I had to spend some money on parts for my daughter's car this weekend and both daughter's need dresses and stuff for upcoming school dances. That can get a little expensive usually.

the sigelei got here today and it's awesome so far.it came with a sharkskin/pager cover type rubber jacket thing and feels way more heavy duty than i thought it would (it feels like it could withstand a few good drops). as of right now it does everything the manual says it will ,and seems pretty accurate doing it.goes down to 5 watts and isn't burning the crap out of everything. i'm impressed.

Oh, but I know you would. You really should have ordered two. One for using and one for testing. So the voltage/wattage seems to be accurate? My one complaint with the isticks is that you can't turn them down far enough for some devices. Since I've been running the mini nautilus and aerotank it hasn't been an issue since I'm running them between 7-9 watts on the isticks.

compared to the istick, voltage wise, it seems a lot closer to being right. for the last 2 days , i've been running a kayfun (wound @1.6 ohm) between 7 and 9 watts and it's perfect.the same setup on the istick would be burn city even at the lowest setting.
i have noticed some fluctuation as the battery drains (the provaris have ruined me for that) but from what i can tell, 5 watts feels like 5watts untill the battery drains down to about 1/3rd and then it starts cooling off.as to quality and the way it feels, it's in a different ballpark.it's weighty and rigid and the atomizer threads, buttons and exterior feel great. It feels like a serious pv.
if i get a few minutes free this weekend, i'm gonna subohm the magma on it - if it will allow the magma to sit flush (my magma is one of the clones with the super long threads) and fire it in mech mode, i'll be sold and will seriously buy another one to replace everything else with.

yessir -it has a magnetic battery door. the manual says "high discharge flat top recommended" but it's got a spring loaded positive post for the battery connector and i've been using the 1600ma aw imr18650 nipple tops in it without a problem. Both of the aw's i have are getting up there in age so i've got a flat top vtc4 on the way from rtd that should be good for 30amps.the 1600ma aw's are good for 24amp which is waay more than should be needed for day to day setups - even down at .5 (like the atlantis) at 30 watts, it should only be drawing 8 amps or so.That being said, who knows what the controller in here is actually doing - it's supposed to be a yihi board but, that doesn't really mean anything :)

so far, all the safety features on the sigelei are working as accurately as everything else. the low battery cutoff is hitting 3.21v every time and when it gets low, it throws a low battery error and won't fire.the manual calls for an 800ma max rating on the charger if you want to just leave the battery in while charging but i've just been pulling the batteries and putting them in the nitecore.
