What strayling said. I have no idea why it is called 555. It just ok. If you want another tobacco flavor to try, look at some of the offerings from Johnson Creek.
Fermenting socks? Must be an acquired taste... Or perhaps I just haven't got the proper starter culture for my socks in the hamper! 
The 555 I received from Pure Smoker tastes like graham crackers with warm milk. Not quite like the 555 State Express analogs, but not unpleasant. If you like RY4/Riskee, you'd probably enjoy 555.
555 is a brand of cigarettes, also called state express.

fermented socks! ha ha what does RY4 taste like? A type of cigs I've tried maybe? I've a total newb. I've tried orignal tobacoo flave only
RY4 is difficult to describe. It's kindasorta tobacco-ish but there's a caramel flavour, maybe with a little dark cherry or chocolate and I taste hints of liquorice/aniseed. Very rich and rounded, and entirely awesome.
Edit: I wasn't entirely kidding about the socks. It's honestly the best description I can come up with.

This is the most accurate description of this flavor I have ever seen.

Oh damnit! Now I know why I like RY4 so much! It does taste just like Riskee Yuice!
Kick e-liquid makes a good 555. I like it because it's tobacco like and not so sweet.
Of course, the fermented socks do give it an odd flavor...
Ok, here is how subjective flavor is. I do not taste tobacco in the 555 blend. To me, it is a mildly dark flavor with a slightly sweet, nutty taste. I like 555, but detest RY4. To me, RY4 is too heavily saturated in flavor, almost like a dark bourbon, where you only get a very thick, heavy flavor and no sweet until afterwards, when you are contemplating whether or not you like it. My personal preference is fruit flavors, apple is my favorite so far. With actual fruit, though, apple is boring to me, I would prefer melons, and mango, and pineapple - something bold.
I just received my 555, bleh, not what i expected. The feeling is there, very minimal taste. Nutty/nothing ;(

555 & RY4 are my absolute favorite flavors ever. RY4 does have a bit of a carmel / chocolate finish to it
Good description. There is a tobbaco taste, but also a sweet nuttie after taste. I also find it smoother then RY4.
I've been sticking to the M'boro from puresmoker plus I just got some MLB 24 from dietsmokes. I guess I'm just a macho man
I got some ry4 carts and it's really good. I'm hoping puresmoker 555 is similar because I have some on the way.
Never thought I'd dig flavors. Guess I'm still hung up on replicating the analog experience...

The 555 from PS I quite like... as said before it has a nutty, slightly sweet tobacco taste. Mixing a little with TW Marlboro works well for me.
