What is a blending adapter and how does it work?

but what is and how does it work?

I think that flips the tank from up top over on the side( a hinge on the outside)

LOL, wow, my old eyes read that as blending.
I get it now. BENDING.
Ok, any advantages to having the tank on the side, and has anyone ever used a bending adapter.

Seems to me the only advantage would be if it would allow the tank to fold all the way down against it so it fit better in my shirt pocket.

There are a few people in the eleaf istick thread that have it. I think it's to make it more pocket sized for carrying
