What is a Kick?

I keep seeing the mention of a "kick". What is it and do I need one?

A kick is a small electronic device that can be placed in a mechanical mod to give it variable wattage function. You do not need one, unless you want to buy a mechanical mod, and still have VW functionality.

Keep in mind with these kicks you're usually restricted to the lower side of AMPS/WATTS. If you have a mechanical you control the watts by the coil resistance. Just make sure you know what you're doing with the right batteries to handle the load.
