What is a kick?

I see people who sub ohm mention a kick. What exactly is one? Im gathering it does something to boost or reduce power going to their heads... a description and maybe a link or pic to see what they look like would be greatly appreciated.

a Kick simply turns your unregulated mechanical mod into a regulated one

it is adjustable from say 5watts to 12watts

Also just to mention those that are using a kick wouldn't be sub-ohming as it typically is used for a topper with resistance from 1.3ohm-3.0ohm. usually people sub-ohm to reach more power then the kick would put out.

The evolve kick 2 takes builds down to .5 ohms and maxes out to 15 watts. But gives a great consistent 15 watt vape to any atomizer. Works great for working your way into sub ohms. Now if they'd come up with the kick 30, that would be kewl.

Im sorta new to it... had a brief stint w what I called a fat bat.. was a ce 3 or 4 head on an ego battery.. not sure of specs. It broke & I went back to smoking.

Speed up to the end of feb.. me turning 35 & got myself an mvp 2. Now im starting to glimpse the possibilities of vaping so trying to learn more...
