I think TAB is an acronym for tobacco (or Turkish) American Blend, but I am not sure. Does anyone know what the DK stands for? Is it like a 555?

I think it's DeKang.....the Chinese brand. One of the earliest ejuices....before everybody in the world started making ejuice.

Go to advanced search and type in DK-tab and you'll get a bunch of threads talking about it.....

That's what I thought, but I had also read (somewhere) that it was a generic flavoring. I find it described as "Dekang DK-TAB (Dekang Tobacco Blend) E-Liquid" but I also see it sold not as DeKang per se, but just a flavor from American juice makers as DK-TAB. If DK stands for DeKang, why would they leave it in the name? That doesn't quite make sense if the liquid is, at least, marketed as American juice. And also, if it is just DeKang, then why does it seem like there are different variations of it? Is there a DK-TAB concentrate for DIY?

I don't want to vape the juice, I have just never understood this one. I guess it is like when I didn't understand the 555 (State Express) or the RY4 (Ruyan #4). I just wondered was it like those, as in a type of juice, or whether it was just a juice.

I just found this: Perfumers Apprentice - DK Tobacco Base Flavor That is called DK Tobacco (not DK-TAB), and I assume this may be what is behind some DK-TAB juices that are supposed to be American made? Seems logical.

EDIT*** Apparently, DK Tobacco is not DK-Tab, so we're back to DK-Tab as being...??? Maybe, maybe not? See below, post #28.

DK-Tab was THE very first juice I vaped and it has a rather "cult like" following. The flavor is hard to describe... although nutty, it's nothing like 555. From what I remember... The tobacco flavor comes from a rather simple soak of Virginia & Turkish leaves, but tobacco isn't the star of the show. Overshadowing the tobacco is a smokey, sweet, nutty, slight pine, and strong chemical taste. It sounds like a train wreck, but it had enough of what I needed to get me off of analogs.

To earlier points discussed, Dekang introduced this (and still makes it), but now other companies have DK-Tab offerings, and/or flavoring available. I think so many vendors get away with using the name because the Chinese almost never take issue with others infringing on their patent rights (since they of course are the masters of infringement).

Like you and I had discussed earlier, I've been revisiting some of my old "favorites" as of late... mainly because I want to see why I liked them in the first place, but also to see how they do with the equipment I use now. Many of my old "favorites" were vaped using and EGO with clogged up 5 day old cartomizers, or cartos that were washed and re-used 3-4 times:)

This is one that I'd like to revisit, but I'll not be vaping any Chinese juice any time soon.

I think American in DK-TUrkish-American Blend" means not "made in USA" but that it is blend of Turkish and American tobaccos, well, it is expected to taste as this blend. DK-TAB is my all day vape for more than a year, could not find something which works for me better. Well, this is not DK-TAB in fact but DIY liquid with Hangsen TAB flavoring which is very close to original one.

Thank you for this post. If the flavoring even matches the original DK Tobacco flavor that's my go-to daily by half, I will be a very happy man in the next coming weeks when I start DIY.

I have both the DK TAB and the DK Tobacco. So the DK Tobacco is a american/turkish blend? Any more details? The DK TAB is so nutty it offends my nose and I can't even bring myself to try it.

Cheapest I've seen has been madvapes 50ml @ 10.99. Thanks for the awesome deal!

Thanks for this. This does tell me a lot.

Agreed. I loved the general taste but had to put it down because the strong chemical combine just seemed to ruin it. Somehow it enhanced the pine and gave it a back flavor of Pine Sol. Going in, it was great, if there were any way to avoid the exhale. I really enjoyed the inhale and wanted so much to like it.
