What is dripping?

What on earth?

I can't find a clear definition of "dripping". I know they have drip tips, but I thought that was the fancy term for mouth piece!

I've searched a bit, and may of not searched long enough, and can't find a clear cut definition of a drip tip?

drip tip is a name for mouthpiece. but also used to drip juice down the hole in the center onto an atomizer. a dripping atomizer usually is just a coil and a very small amount of wicking material. drip a few drops right onto it, and vape. Repeat.

The above comment is pretty much "dripping" in a nutshell.
Drip tip is another way of saying mouth piece.
But if one were inclined to drip directly onto an atomizer.. You can circumvent removing the mouth piece by dripping right into the atty via the mouth piece because the opening is large enough to support dripping into the mouth piece, hence the term "drip tip". It also prevents eliquid from dripping into your mouth. So even though there are tons of other methods for vaping, the term drip tip has just remained.
There are various methods for feeding an atomizer the eliquid.
Dripping is a direct method of feeding the juice to the atomizer. Some atty's hold more liquid than others, but still applied in the same manner. Other methods are cartomizers that are filled with liquid, tanks that are filled with liquid and can either feed the coil by a wick or cartomizer, bottom fed, rebuildable atomizers or rba's (both dripping and tanks) the lingo is vast! But it will start to make sense.

dripping is the opposite of a tank, tank hold juice so you dont have to drip
