Hello all! I am fairly new at vaping... And I am happy to be done with dipping and smoking. I am using ego batteries and stardust cartomizers and I have been very pleased so far. My question is, there are times when I would like to have a handy ecig in my pocket for those times at work or at dinner, and I am not really sure what would be best to use. My job involves a lot of physical labor, and I am worries about breaking a stardust tank in my pocket. What is the skinny on using atomizers? Or is there another method? I was thinking of getting a ego mini or trog sd to go with it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

first off, as an eGo owner, you already have one of the better "pocket rocket" systems around...i also do a lot of physical labor as a mechanic....i use a smok tech dual coil tank on a KGO for my everyday vape with no issues whatsoever...as for atomizers, you'd have to drip juice every time you want to take a drag, which kind of gets old having to carry around a bottle plus your PV....overall i'd recommend going over to wal mart and grabbing a hard pencil case (back to school sales in effect right now, save a bit of cash) to keep it in and protected....hope you find some success.....good luck and happy vaping!

Hi welcome to ECF. Go to utube do a search under ecigs or ecig mods. A lot of cheap mods out there like 20 bucks. Great in a pocket. Know mad vapes sells one
How about the Switchback from VaporBeast? You could put a clearomizer on it, put the cap on and not worry about breaking the clearo or the 510 connection.

what about a toothbrush case? would look kind of lame but would protect the tank and should fit
I always thought the Switchback would be great for your situation. If you like dripping, I would think the VMOD would work great for you.

A few places sell 350-400mah ego style batteries. Some reffer to them as a "ego mini". They of course don't last as long as the 650's but with a cartomizer on them they are pretty small and work ok for me when needed. Everyone is different though.
Check out the box mods personally not my cup of tea but they would fit in a shirt pocket and much better battery life and vapor production.
I carry a 650mah Ego with an atomizer with drip-tip in my pocket at work. It's short enough that it's not likely to get broken by me sitting and standing and moving around. But, all I do is sit and stand and walk a little at work, no physical labor.
Here's a picture of a little waterproof tube I used to always carry at work. When I smoked, I could carry 7 100mm cigarettes in this tube without having to worry about them breaking. It fits nicely in the front jeans pocket and stays right in the spot at the top of your leg where you bend when you sit or squat. It's extremely thick, sturdy plastic You should be able to get one at a sporting goods store where you get water-proof stuff for camping.
In this pic, I have a 900mah battery and a 650mah with atty and drip-tip attached. I can't screw it shut with the drip-tip on. But, I can if I take the drip-tip off.
Since it's big enough (plus some) for 2 Ego batteries, you should be able to fit a 900mah batt with a Stardust next to it. And whatever you put in this, it WILL NOT BREAK. You could drive a truck over it, and it would not break!
If you are willing to use atomizers and drip, you have a lot more pocket friendly options.
