I absolutely HATE licorice of any color and/or anise. I vape Pure Cig (with menthol or without) and I don't taste any licorice at all. The black pepper though, I taste. I've never gotten the Wyatt Earp from them because I've heard so many people mention licorice in conjunction with it. I haven't yet tasted a "tobacco" liquid yet that didn't have some element of pepper or hot sauce to it. (and that includes BWB).

David at FSUSA has been asked about licorice in some of their products such as Wyatt Earp and he has assured everyone there is no licorice used in the production of Wyatt Earp.

One important note about FSUSA - and many other suppliers as well ...many of the suppliers make the juice fresh for each order and these require some aging or steeping time. Some juices are fine fresh out of the box and others need one, two, three weeks or more to age - depending on your tastes.

The pepper taste you describe is a common observation on fresh juices that need steeping time. This lets the flavors "meld" together.

A good way to do this is to let the juice sit with the bottle open to the air for 24 hours, but away from any little hands or pets. Then as it steeps, give it a shake every once in a while and if necessary, repeat the 24 hours with the cap off.

You'll end up with juice that is wonderful and tasty to vape!

I have Desert Ship (tobacco flavor) , American Spirit, RY4 and I've tried RY5 and Wyatt Earp. A tiny little taste of anise on the first couple tries on WE but it went away real quick...like gone within the same day I vaped it the first time. I have not picked up on *any* black lic flavor in the rest of the other tobacco juices I've tried from them.

Good luck. Hope ya find something that suits ya.

Kat, there's no anise in the Wyatt Earp either. David was asked about that also.

As for pre-steeped juices, FSUSA says they will soon be coming out with pre-steeped juice for those who want it. My personal preference is to buy enough juice well enough in advance that I can age it myself and get it to the taste that I want. I have doubts any chemist could do that for me.

I guess maybe I should've said that it was combination of the "spices" or flavors added to make Wyatt that gave it that "anise" flavor? I know there's no anise in it or black lic in it...besides, that taste gone within minutes and it was an awesome juice. I vaped the heck out of it. Till I burned myself out on it a little. It'll get ordered again for sure, though.

Taste is majorly subjective. Don't knock Wyatt till you've tried it. There's no anise or black lic in it. There's not even black pepper flavoring in it. It just might be the combo of the flavors that make it the GREAT juice that it is...IMO.

If anything, order a 3ml bottle of it and try it. If ya don't like it, toss it or give it away. No harm, no foul.

Btw...the 3ml sampler bottles are already steep, right? Just give it a try. If you order anything bigger than that, then it will need some steeping time. And the more it's vaped, the better it gets. Again...just my opinion.
