USA. State: Inebriated.
Does vaporfi call their liquids premium? No, but they offer a "Grand Reserve"....says it all really.

It means they used their "Grand Reserve" of cash to pay someone to write superfluous descriptions of their e-liquid.

Get a load of this:
Fresh brewed espresso combined with crushed hazelnuts, caramel swirl and syrup drizzle to create an authentic latte.

aka: "Coffee Flavoring" with VG.

as far as a real premium juice... its gonna contain King Louis 14 cognac, gold flakes, have a wax sealed bottle with real cordovian leather tie around the neck of the bottle, its gonna be in a hand carved Brazilian Rosewood box with Ebony inlays with real silver hinges.... Each box/bottle will be serial numbered by hand and signed by the maker along with the date and a full satisfaction garentee ( never could spell that word) money back offer if you dont like it ( plus you get to keep the box) :)

Missouri...or the state of Misery.
Well for me I just started reading in here about what the basics I would need. Read up on safety and joined some DIY places on Facebook and looked for the right folks to ask questions. It is actually very simple to make your own stuff. Just go under the thread for DIY and you will find a bunch of helpful stuff. I do my shopping at a few trusted places. Look at the recipe page and see if any of those recipes catch your fancy and order the flavorings, pg and vg and nicotine. I only use 60mg nic and dilute it for 3mg. I personally don't feel safe with 100mg nicotine as accidents happen and I have a Olde English bulldogge that can't stay out of my kitchen and I'm affraid of the what if's and then I have my 13 year old gabbing at me so I figure I'm safer with less potent nic. Now the cost is not bad, but that also depends on how many flavorings you want and where you buy everything. I use syringes to measure and you can get those dirt cheap on ebay, tractor trailer supply also has them and are cheap. The only thing I can say is read, read and read everything you can. Google is your best friend for finding recipes also.

Research, research, research is how I started (I read through just about every post I could find)....Found about 4 simple 2-3 flavor recipes that I thought I might like from the DIY recipe forum, figured out what supplies/flavorings I would need and ordered it. My total startup was around $50- $80 I think? I bought smaller quantities of vg, pc, and nic to see if this process was going to work for me. When I found out it does work extremely well, I started adding to my flavoring collection and bought pg/vg/nic in bulk and I'm at the point now where I am experimenting with my own recipe blends. And remember when you get to that point to write everything down!

All of this! +1,000

If I could control what premium juice meant, I would make it so "ultra-premium" meant only glass bottles that were engraved with a unique design, and crafted in an iso 7 or better lab, using 100% vg from sigma aldrich!<-- kidding, just very high quality vg... Also flavors/nicotine would be extracted from in house labs at the juice manufacturing site. Now THAT is some high quality juice to me.
