What you are tasting it the primer that they put on the atty before it's shipped, I've had some that were a little sweet, others that tasted kind of burnt. It'll take a day or so for that to completely burn off normally and then your carts should taste more like what they are supposed to. If you have some e-liquid, you can put a couple of drops on the bridge (the part of the atty that sticks out when you don't have a cart on it) and the will help it go a little faster. Or you can clean them in hot water and it will help that go a little quicker. (Check the threads about cleaning an atty)

When you change from one flavor of cart to another, the taste will linger for a little bit too, so a lot of people have separate attys for different flavors or clean their attys whenever they change flavors. Me, I just enjoy the blend of the two in most cases. Menthol and cinnamon are the exceptions that I've tried, I have separate attys for those as they stay in the atty forever.

I've tried tobacco, vanilla and java, all in different attys, but they all tasted exactly the same.
and I did blow them out, but nothing came out.

If your vaping the carts that came with the blu they really dont have a very strong flavor. The java jolt was the strongest flavor I had when I got my Blu but all the others were pretty weak. You might give it a day or two to "break in"

when I first started I was looking for something as close to real tobacco as I could get. But everything I tried had a sweet taste to it. So I gave up on that plan and just started trying everything. If your just getting started hang in there you will get used to it!

I'll second this assessment. I noticed the vapor seemed sort of sweet and rich tasting to me when I started too. Wasn't sure if I'd get used to it, but I thought to myself, "Self, if you had no prior experience with smoking and someone had you choose between this taste and cigarette taste, which one would you choose?" Then I decided to just go with it.:)

I've tried several flavors and haven't really found my niche yet.

I've been pretty happy with 555 as an all day vape.

The fruity ones all taste like jolly rancher to me (not a huge fan of candy in general) and the soda pop flavors taste just about exactly like they're supposed to but I don't drink that much soda and don't really want to vape it all day either.

I'm waiting on a shipment from mrs t's bakery: pralines something-or-other, marshmallow, some others.

I tried a cappuccino flavor, didn't like it personally, but I want to put some of that marshmallow or pralines in it and see how that strikes me.
