What is the absolute best cell I can aquire for my Target 75 VTC?

In a single 18650 mod, "best" pretty much just comes down to battery life, (assuming we're considering OEM options). I'd suggest an LG HG2 or Samsung 30Q. Both are 3000 mah and are suitable for the mod. You can buy them at rtdvapor.com, imrbatteries.com, and other sites.

At full 75watts all the time you've only got 5 options, Sony VTC3 or VTC4, LG HB2, HB4 or HB6.
60watts and lower any 20amp battery, in this instance the LG HG2 shines, followed by the VTC4, Samsung 25R, and LG HE2/HE4 and HD2 as the major 5 workhorse cells on the market, with the Sony VTC5 coming in last
50watts and below, then the Samsung 30Q comes into play being a 15amp CDR rated battery.

Do you have an understanding of how to calculate for your max CDC for any cell ? Battery drain
Asking how to use cells would seem to be a better question ............

The Samsung 30Q might be advertised as 15A CDR, but it tests at 20A CDR, and has a MCA of 25A.

At 75A you're drawing about 23A pulsed and any good 20A battery can easily handle that. I recommend the LG HG2 or Samsung 30Q.

Though many recommend a bigger safety margin, gotten by using 25A or 30A batteries.
