Keep an eye on Catfish Atty Mods in the Modder Suppliers section. He and other regulars keep an eye on what's out there, and converts (mostly authentics) to bottom feed. It kinda depends on what you like; big flavor, big vapor, etc. The Stumpy is very popular, currently, and has been for a while. Lots of folks are liking the new Maker. Personally, I like the Stumpy, the Thump, and the Manta V2.

A catfish modded atty will also likely drain better. The Velocity does not drain at all and it makes it prone to leaking because of that.

Having said that, i use either Catfish modified Dark Horse atties or Velocities and of the two the Velocities are the easiest to build on and allow a greater freedom in the coils with which they can be fitted.

So when choosing consider what coils you will likely fit, as well as how important drainage is to you.

If i could only have one it would be a Stumpy. Clones are easy to convert and good quality. If you want an authentic Catfish atty mods does em real nice.
I couldn't agree more.I bought several that came with bottom feed pins, and converted several more(probably tried 20 different rda's)but every time i went right back to my stumpy clones. For me,they are the 1 so i finally stopped looking haha.

That is a Good Point about Drainage.

When I drilled out my Stump and added a BF Pin, I didn't like it all that much. Since the Deck of the Stump was Flat, it would Drain completely.

But when I took the Positive Post out of a Tsunami and put it in the Stumpy, it left a Ledge at the bottom of the Deck. So the Drainage wasn't complete. Which for me works better.

Bottom Feeding has been growing in popularity, and vapers have been shifting towards atomizers with more room and more airflow than the RM2. So there's a bigger variety in BF atties - you need to describe how you vape!!

Reosmods even has a bunch of BF modded clones of atties available - but they may not be "better" than an RM2 if you always vape single coil, and a tight "mouth to lung" draw.

I love a bunch of atties, including Nuppin, and modded for BF: Rogue, Manta, Narda and M-atty.
If I was coming from an RM2, I'd probably go for the Origen Little, or 0-16.

The Mantas were like that, depending which run they came from. The first Catfished Manta V2s decks were flat on the bottom. So, they drained completely. The Later ones had a shelf, which allowed a reservoir at the bottom.

Nuthin drains like a Nuppin.

Post hole is in a drain pipe around the + post.

Drains from below the deck by design.

And due to that, doesn't break suction before it's completely drained.

No other atty... no matter who did the work or how... drains like a nuppin.

Dry pockets even when your mod is upside down.

CAM Is your next best option. Always impressed by their work. (Last item I got from CAM was my stumpy and it wasn't from Tom... hence... they)

Agreed about the Nuppin. Nothing drains like it. AFAIK, the Nuppin is the only atty that was designed strictly as a bottom feeder. There was no conventional 'top down' Nuppin. Sadly, they are no longer being made.
All the BF attys I own have come from Catfish, other than a couple Nuppins. His work is excellent.

Absolutely!

There was a "top down" option on the second run. Though positive posts for this option were very limited. Peter asked that if you weren't serious about running a Nuppin' on a conventional mech, you didn't order one.

I have one at the house. :D

Nuppii were made in runs. Only 2 runs were produced. The second run offered different top cap and AFC ring options. (Brass, copper, SS and black anodized aluminum, mix and match)

The second run was also the V2 version. The bottom flange that the top cap butts down to was removed and the overall height of the deck was lessened exactly that much. This makes all parts exactly the same except when choosing a different colored top cap and air flow control ring, a SS lip won't be visible at the bottom of the atty. Resulted in about a mm less height overall and a uniform look... and all parts between V1 and V2 interchangeable.

Despite the logistical nightmare and minimal profit, I'm sure with enough demand, Peter would do a 3rd run against his will.

I've been harassing him in a friendly manner for a V3 since since the 300 V2s sold out.

I have 2 V2s, which I got new from Peter. I didn't know there was ever a top fed version; not that I would have ever got one. Back when Nuppins were available, I was and still am a squonker, exclusively.
I just assumed Peter was busy enough, keeping up with demand for his wood mods, without getting into making more Nuppins.

Don't you worry.

I'll keep plugging him.

I only have 6.

And need 6 more.
