What is the Best Way to Store E-Liquids?

I am still a newb but heard from many experienced vapers that storing the juice in a fridge is the dummest thing you can make. Again its me talking not a pro.

Hmmm. Would a cooler work? I have a vinyl-covered cooler bag that has one large section for storing picnic-type foods along with a separate section made for holding one of those freezer packs to keep the contents of the bag cold. Obviously, it wouldn't be possible to precisely regulate the temperature this way, but wondering if this might be a solution to storing my eliquids safely?
