Hello there ECF,

A year ago, I came across these forums in search of an educated choice to purchase my first ecig. Everyone was really helpful and I chose the Joye 510 and made my first purchase from electronicstix.. Then I ordered the Parma Violet 30ml 36mg from Totally Wicked.

That was the best money I ever spent in my life. I still have my 510 kit and still LOVE IT!

Now, I am looking for something much stronger... ;)

Simply, what are the top choices I should consider for a vape with a BIG battery, SMOOTH inhalation atomizer/cartomizer, and great design, of course?

I am considering a CHUCK from THAG BUILT, and the MKII from Totally Wicked, and I'm sure there are many other options.

Soo, what could be the NUKE OF ECIGS as I like to call it?

The market is now full of great products, and also CRAP!

Help me out like you guys did a year ago, I BELIEVE IN YOU!

I'm sure everyone here will flood this topic with their personal favorites. At some point you may become inundated. Don't let that get you down. Go with your gut feelings.

That said, my favorites are the Silver Bullet from Altsmoke as far as mods go. It's sleek, sturdy, shiny, has a fantastic recessed button, and comes with standard 510 fitting. It can vape at 3.7 volt with the 18650 battery, or 6v using two RCR123a batteries. It is a freaking vapor monster at 6v. More than any analog cigar ever produced.

My other mod is the Omega (also from Altsmoke). I really like the Omega, and it's pretty much the same as the Silver Bullet except it's slightly smaller in diameter and height. Uses the 510 fitting, so LR and HV attys can be used efficiently pending on your battery selection (fits 18650 for 3.7v or 2 @ RCR123a for 6v.). The Omega has a sexier design than the Silver Bullet, with its contoured battery housing. It, too, creates freight train vapor. One set back to the Omega is the top pressing button style is NOT pocket friendly. It will go off if you set this in your pants pocket and sit or bend. The Silver Bullet won't.

Why do I prefer these mods over all the others? Because they don't look like they were whipped up in someone's basement. Because they look sleek and the machine work is excellent. Because they make me feel good holding one in public. Too many of the mods out there look like I should be using it behind the garage as a teenager and passing it to my friends after every hit. I don't like the other radio shack looking buttons and screw on tops, or the ones that look like they should be flashlights or something off an Edsel. I want my big PV mod to look factory made, well machined, and dang sexy.

For non-mods I like the JSB diamond Vgo 900mAh and the Xpower. I have to say I'm torn between the two.

The JSB Diamond Vgo (aka. The Lux) is definitely sexier than any eGo out there. Its slim design, standard 510 fitting, lets you use the many LR510 atomizers for dripping, cartridges or cartomizers. It produces excellent vapor and TH, no matter which way you use it. The 900mAh battery last me, a heavy vaper, all day. The typical vaper can make it last 2-3 days.

The Xpower 900mAh also can be used with atomizer for dripping or cartridge, and also with a cartomizer. The Xpower's fittings are 301/601, so not so common. However, I feel it produces even more vapor, and more TH than the Vgo. Just a bit more, but a noticeable difference. The Xpower cartomizer holds more juice than the Vgo and is a bit longer. I believe about 1.3ml worth. The Xpower may not have a fancy design on the battery and cone like the Vgo, but the end lights up orange in a pattern that resembles the burning ember of a cigar. It is also slightly wider and longer than the Vgo.

I've used both the Vgo and the Xpower for about 2 weeks now. I still switch between the two constantly. (they're both in front of me now, next to my Omega). In fact, it's time to do some vaping...

Most of the mods mentioned thus far are little more than battery holders, expensive ones. I have several that are sitting around collecting dust. Look into "auto or bottom" feed mods - REO, REO Mini, Phidias, or Journeyman. All of these mods have a larger battery, but they also contain a 3ml or 6ml bottle that dispenses your favorite juice directly onto the atty of your choice. Simple, efficient, and hassle free. They provide a whole day of vaping without carts to fill, juice bottles to carry around, and paper towels to clean up the mess. And, as a word of warning, despite its cheap price, stay away from the WetBox, or at least check the forum for what others say about it, before you buy.
