It's illegal here smoking/vaping in a public place, even in a vape shop. Yes I vaped in a vape shop and I got told off for it. However there's a new vape shop in my area and the owner allows people to vape in there. The owner was even letting me test out some of his juice with his test mod. I felt weird doing something illegal. But deep down I felt it was right. :D lol

Only vape where allowed, no point in giving the opposition more ammunition to use against us by proving we are not capable of self regulation.
OooOooh... I have a fan? I'm honored that you think I have some influential power. But I would never damage your good name even if I could, Or talk down about anyone in the forum. We all have the freedom to agree or disagree with the advice each of us gives to others. We are discussing "advice" not "people".

Don't be such a stick in the mud. I know you use to be a rebel... Smoking your Marlboro's, and weaving through traffic on that Harley, and driving your Zamboni or whatever your pro pic is... Sitting outside the gas station not smoking, under the do not smoke sign.

Come on man pull out your tattoos and share :)

My dad is a devout anti-smoker/anti-fun pretty much. keep in mind that I'm Level 40 and my parents are in their 70's, the craziest place I've vaped is probably my parents house.
I've never heard anyone refer to their age like it was a video game character level. Interesting.

Didn't even notice, only had a few hours sleep yesterday lol...

Also no never go caught, I just blow it into a pillow, although you can definitely smell it, thinking his smeller is starting to go..

I vaped relatively discretely in my room during two recent hospitalizations. A health tech saw my vape on my over-the-bed table, mentioned that I wasn't allowed to vape in the hospital, then said she wouldn't say anything to the authorities, just don't get caught.

I have vaped at the cinema. I always am pretty discreet about it. I always pick a show that I know will not have many people in the theater, I always pick the last row next to the wall, wait until the lights are out, and use the double inhale technique so I don't exhale any vapor.

Went to the ladie's high school state basketball tournaments last spring. Four match ups that lasted from 10 in the morning until 9 pm at night. I discretely vaped in a bathroom stall using the above stealth technique.

Um, probably on a Southwest flight (I wasn't even stealth vaping it was during that transitional period where you could or you couldn't, depending). A stewardess asked me to put it away, and I was DOING it, I just asked her if she could show me where the "rule" was so I could check on other flights, and like, they were fighting words I guess cuz then we were stuck on the tarmac and I did not power down my phone fast enough and got yelled at?

Then I got "met" by TSA "security" and I guess stewardess like, filed some sort of non actionable "report" against me. I totally freaked out, (and cried) at the TSA police because it was so stressful. They actually told me, "Don't mind her, we're out here all the time with HER," and repeatedly reassured me that it was just some random report that would molder away in a filing cabinet somewhere.

I went to get the report anyway and like, it was really weird like the stewardess said I was "Making vile comments about her on FB and other stuff," and that I was insubordinate and the little old lady who was being totally nice and sympathetic CORROBERATED the stewardess's story. I don't think I'd opened my FB in over 3 years prior to later binning it. It was really odd and not what I expected to read. It taught me things:
a) don't vape on a plane, ever.
b) I don't trust little old ladies they can be all NICE to your face while being total (censored) later..
c) even if you aren't doing "wrong" you can be made to appear "wrong".
c1) I wasn't for the death penalty anyway but like that report made me even less so.
d) it was probably not a good idea to write down the names of said individuals and pay them a visit so I didn't.
e) It's unfortunate Southwest is the hub for my area because if that is what the stewardesses are like, I don't trust their aid in a disaster, and little old ladies needing assistance, you're gonna have to work with the stewardess, because that is what you did LAST time so don't bother being all nice to me in the hopes that I'll help carry you out TOO I have learned my lesson on that.

Also (probably more controversially) the bathroom of my son's court hearing I'm a terrible parent but I was really stressed.

Now that I'm a snus user too? Nowhere. It's not worth it.

Probably the strangest was in the examination room in my doctors office while going over the results of a biannual blood workup/checkup with him well over five years ago. I hadn't seen him since I quit smoking a couple of months before... so he perked up when he asked me if I still smoked and I said 'no, I vape now'. He wanted to know all about this thing called vaping, and invited me to vape while we were discussing it (I only took a couple of hits since he didn't smoke/vape). He asked me to put together a bunch of literature about it for him to photocopy and pass on to his other smoking patients. I did so and he has often told me of the results for some of his other patients when I saw him over the years.

There are only a few places that I can't vape in the town I live in. Even the hardware store has signs up on the door that says vaping is not only allowed, but encouraged. But the town I'm in is tiny. Population is just under 1,030.

The Capital of Sin is a bit larger with a resident population of around 2 million (and gets around 42 million visitors per year). ;)

My experience has been that you can vape most anywhere here. In part because most residents here are at least somewhat informed about vaping whether they do it or not. And in part because vaping is not included under the State of Nevada tobacco-smoking laws (so even a sign banning smoking does not apply to vaping). Proprietors of businesses set their own rules... many allow it but some do put up smoking/vaping signs. Most government buildings, hospitals and other similar common sense places are a no-no though, and some areas in casino's are non smoking/vaping.

My policy has always been if in doubt at a business to ask first (I've never been told no). Out and about in the outdoors I vape freely. It's almost always in the wee hours of the night when I am out and about running errands, and I can vape at those businesses I visit. But I do respect how close my proximity is to non smoking/vaping people if any are around (usually mostly street people).

My social anxiety restricts me in such ways that I am sure I could not comfortably visit there, let alone live here. But it is nice to hear it is very similar to my tiny little town, in relation to vaping.

My nephew is in highschool. Vaping is not allowed in there for anyone, let alone for the kids. Long story short, he vaped while on a brake. Most of the teachers smoke there so he gave them an attitude when they called him to talk. They then called his parents but they couldn't go at the time of the phone call as they were working so they asked me if I could go. I went. Vaped DTL in the middle of the talking while maintaining eye contact with the principal. Took my nephew and went for a cold one. Yup, good day.
