What is the difference between cartomizer and atomizer?

Hi! What is the difference between cartomizer and atomizer? I'm kinda confused among the two of them.

Hey there. They are basically the same thing. They both have an atomizer which is the device that transfers the electricity to the coil to vaporize the e-juice. The difference between the 2 is that the Cartomizer is pre-packed with filler material and factory e-juice where an atomizer looks the same but has only a coil with small wick at the bottom that you drip your own ejuice into. Cartomizer is what you see on the analog look-a-likes and the atomizer is like the Joyetech 510

Your description is correct but cartomizers are not solely for cig a likes. They are widely use in carto tanks. They are not necessarly prefilled and can be longer than the ones you find on cigalikes
