Hi all, hoping you can help me. I have always had egos on hand for me and others to try. I just gave away my last one and now I need to order more. The problem is there are now many different styles and I don't know what each one does. Can anyone help me??? I kind of like the ones that shut off the battery so it doesn't start in a pocket etc, but I don't know which one that is. Also, only a simple 510 connection. I use basic atomizers but am thinking of getting clearomizers or a vivi nova or something like that. Which ones don't leak?? Thanks for all of your help. I am using a reo but of course need a back up and now I have none. Thanks for listening and helping if you can.:vapor:

For me the tabac bcc's and the mini protanks have not had leaking problems. The tabac bcc is supposed to be the same as the kanger T3 but I haven't had the problems with the tabac bcc as some have reported on the T3's. I get mine at heaven gifts and good prophets which come with the 1.8 ohm coils although you can buy other ohm coil replacements. For me the 1.5 is too hot and the 2.6 is too weak but that depends on flavors. Lighter flavors work well for me with the 2.2ohm coils, stronger flavors are best at the 1.8 ohm coils.

I personally love my evods. I've never had one leak. I also love my Davide which is basically a Protank 2 but has been known to gurgle and leak on occasion.

I've actually never heard of an eGo type battery that doesn't have some type of on/off mode. I've only been vaping for about 2 months though. Both my eGos have a 5 button on/off feature, a SmokTech Winder and an eGo grenade style battery. I actually just posted about my grenade on ECF with a link where you can get one for cheap here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-loving-my-new-ego-grenade-style-battery.html. IMO they look so much better with larger tanks but they may, or may not, be applicable to you. The larger tanks just look a bit strange on a straight ego battery, but I use evods with those and they're great.

That is so cool. I want one of those batteries. But, all I have so far are simple kits and about 9 clearomizers I bought cheap at MadVapes. (I also have about a dozen cartomizers.) It's all 510 threading.

Would these be compatible with The Grenade Battery?

Yes, those would work with that battery. The grenade battery, like almost all eGo-type batteries actually have two threads. One outer thread that is referred to as eGo threading which used for evods and the CE4 you linked to at MadVapes. The other thread is the inner 510 thread that will fit larger clearomizers (Protank, Davide) and all 510 cartomizers and atomizers.

In my setup, I have a "skirt" that starts just above the ego button that is threaded onto the ego (outer) threads. The Davide is threaded into the battery's 510 (inner) connection. The skirt, which comes with the Davide, is there to make it look better on ego batteries.

Edit: here are some pictures of the grenade battery without the Davide skirt.

vivi nova tank, no leaks, iTaste 16's are the equivalent to CE6's and don't leak, BCC Mega are bottom feeders and don't leak

As long as you don't hork down on the caps crushing the delicate silicon gaskets they usually won't leak

I have all 3 and all of them work well (CE4, CE6's, a BCC Mega tank [it came on my Totally Wicked Tornado RCS], and a vivi nova mini)

oh and jamiller619, those batteries kinda look like the grenades in Aliens!!!!
