What is the most durable cylindrical vv/vw 18650 apv in the us$50 price range?

Help!

My cat's tail hit my itaste svd once too often and now the button is flaky. I want to reuse my stash of 18650 batteries in my iclear 15 and iclear 30 atomizers. However I need something that wont break (or can be repaired) if it drops a foot onto a carpeted surface. Given a choice I prefer moderate sized moderate weight devices (I have a slight tremor in my hands). However much I would like to get soemthing that is uber durable, thease all seem above my price range (I dont want to spend over us $60 maximum)

I did get a vision spinner II but its a tad too small and light. Further the vision spinner II and does not pack the wattage to make my juices taste their best.

I plan to use fast tech this time so I have a longer warranty

TIA

Sam

$32.15 Tesla Variable Voltage/Wattage Mod - 3.0-6.0V / 3.0-15.0W / 1*18650 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
I have one of these (mine isn't the fasttech clone though)
I have dropped this thing down the carpeted stairs in my house... I watched it tumble all the way down to the bottom... landed on a thin rug that is on the tile floor of the 1st floor... I ran down stairs and looked it over... tank wasn't cracked (I had it topped with a Phiniac cartotank)... hit the button and took a hit from it... worked fine... I've dropped it on the pavement getting out of the car, dropped it from the kitchen counter onto the tile floor.... nothing has hurt it yet...

tbh Im concerned that I would need two if not three devices if I vape allot or am out and about overnight. I already have two 2200mah imr batteries and one 3000 mah imr. My ego usb pass through 1100mah battery lasts 5 hours and the vision spinner lasts 4-6 hours (4 hours on highest voltage, about 6 on the lowest). Both the ego-c and vision spinner have a habit of dying while im the car or waiting on a bus.
So I like batteries for the flexibility they afford. That said, just how sturdy is the itaste vv? is it resilient to cat tail collisions, "oops I missed the glass/remote/salt shaker and knocked over the ecig again" and other common but minor events?

A cheap stabilised option might be the Cool Fire 1, but not all come with an 18650 tube so be careful.

Durable is matter of circumstances and luck, and really I'm surprised your SVD was wrecked by a fall at home, but they are notorious for squiffy fire buttons.

Something can happen to bust anything, this was built like a tank

Before I went mech then regulated box I used a Vamo V5 and a iTaste SVD. The Vamo always felt a bit "cheap" to me but worked great, no problems. The SVD was a bit more of a beast IMO. I personally don't like fast tech, but I don't have personal experience from them I just have heard terrible things from other posters and I personally prefer to put my vaping money back into the community of vaping store either B&M or online. The SVD may be out of your price range if you don't do something like Fast Tech though.

As a side note I love my IPV2 and haven't touched a single other device since I got it. I used to only love cylinder mods or VV/VW and thought box mods were just not my cup of tea. Boy was I wrong. IPV2 is great!

**EDIT**

Sorry I didn't see in you original post (not sure how I missed it) that you had a SVD. I'm really shocked that it broke like that. I haven't really put mine through a stress test by dropping it or anything but I did used to carry it around in my bag with a bunch of other stuff so it did get banged up a bit. Still works like a champ though.

To be honest, I really think most devices will weather being dropped a foot onto a carpeted floor without a problem (unless it's a *really* thin carpet, and a concrete floor, I guess). Your SVD button flakiness probably doesn't have much or anything to do with that; my SVD has the same problem, and it's never been dropped at all, ever, and in fact never even taken outside or had the slightest bit of rough treatment.

I used VTC4s in my Tesla (overkill, I know... sue me!!)
With a 1.8 ohm cartomizer, I would get almost 2 days on a single 18650 battery... I always carried a spare battery with me (as well as spare carts and extra juice) just in case... rarely had to refill the tank or change the battery during a normal 10 hour work day...
I'll probably go back to using it more as soon as I pick up a Kayfun for it... I'm just burned on cartos now and got tired of dealing with them (draw was just too hard)

wow thanks all! I will check locally during the upcoming holiday sales to see who has the best prices on the mentioned items then order remotely if no one carries the specific products at an affordable price. Based off the above Ill likely get the tesla or itaste vv/vw. Also compelling to me is that it seems that Kaezziel , like me, tends to clumsy accidents that no one believes occurred unless they themselves made a gremlin angry some time in the past ^_^.

I will likely consider other items in a few months. However since stuff like the provari, seigal zmax/legand/etc , etc are above what I can pay so soon after starting vaping, I need to go cheap for a time to avoid cost creep :>

fwiw I do not consider box mods since I have mild nerve damage in my main hand and the times I've tried various box mods resulted in silly levels of shaking. Cylinders are just much easier to grip - esp if you add some hair ties for extra grip!
P.S. Ill keep a look out for other suggestions esp if you know something that meets a beginners needs while being a cylinder of moderate weight and extra toughness.
