What is this trend of mixing tobacco with dessert flavors?

I'm a bit out of the loop, .... I'm taking a look at some of the high rated brands around and literally drooling at the presentation and descriptions, something like:

North Carolina grown/extracted Virginia tobacco, with two other unique tobaccos to create a one of a kind tobacco base.

Yet continues

From there fresh banana and other sweet secret ingredients are added, to create a delectable, slightly sweet tobacco vaping experience.

Dammit, next.

The e-juice that started it all, Enterprise is a unique take on the RY4 concept, but without the vanilla and caramel.

I'm listening...

It blends a variety of premium, bold tobacco extracts with a smooth sweetness to create a more “tobacco” dessert tobacco blend, with a sweet, creamy finish.

Are you kidding me?

I'm finding this with literally every popular vendor. I understand many people love these but is there really no more market for people who love a pure tobacco taste or a complex pipe flavor without any creaminess or sweetness?

You mean what is the most awesome trend ever? :)

Yeah, it sounded strange to me too, but it's turned into some of my favorite combos. If you like both flavors, it turns out they go really well together. I would've never guessed either. But as said above, it sounds like NET's have come a long way too.

I second NET.com for true tobacco vapes. Also, love NETs from Goodejuice.com (look at Organic #1 and Wrangler Light). Also, check out EtherVapes for Top Leaf and Gold Leaf. If cigars and/or pipe tobacco are what you're looking for, any of the above vendors offer many Naturally Extracted Tobacco offerings in those categories as well.

Sproket, where is this deliciousness of which you speak? I love my NETs, but have recently been craving something dessert-like with them.

You know what's hilarious...I was thiiis close to putting at the end of that "lovecoffee should be here shortly to tell you about good NET's" hah. I swear. You never let us down sir.

Ok, so I'm a huge fan of Space Jam Eclipse, love it as-is, but recently wanted to spice things up too. So I found Dragonscape from Njoy, and it's a bit too sweet on its own, but sort of a Bavarian Cream donut or chai/coffee like flavor- but the combo of the 2 together is like nothing on this earth. And I got my friend into it, and he uses a more NET like flavor, and says that it blends with Dragonscape ever better. So there is something to investigate there if you want to mix things up.

LOL at my "NET rep". BTW, I'm a gal, not a sir. :)

I need to check out both of those flavors. So, your friend is mixing a NET with the Dragonscape?

Try this site. Looks like what you're looking for:

Exactly what I was thinking, a N.E.T. might suit. I think it's because when we get far enough away from smoking, a lot of us don't care for the taste of tobacco too much anymore, unless it's like a sweet pipe tobacco type -- which I thought were disgusting, when I still smoked cigarettes. :D

and Sproket, where do you buy Dragonscape? It's pretty expensive for an ejuice, so looking for the best price.

Doh, sorry ma'am *tips hat* And ya apparently NET type flavors mix with it well. It is overpriced, but is finally coming down. worldofvape.com has it for $17.95 (but looks like currently out of 6mil nic) But I've seen it for around $18 elsewhere too.

Hybrid NET. Real tobacco mixed with dessert, fruit, bakery or other flavorings. I've been mixing/making hybrid NETs for years, it's all I vape. The idea for mixing tobacco with "other" flavors actually comes from aromatic pipe tobacco blends which have been around for a very, very long time. I was a pipe smoker until I tasted a custom mixed hybrid NET, been vaping ever since.

I like pure NETs very much, and by that I mean single varietal tobaccos. Always have a tank full of sun cured Turkish, or a smooth vape like organic spirit. But then I like a dessert juice too, however they don't give that satisfaction a tobacco extract does, so yes I do like a flavored tobacco on occasion, though not very sweet :)
