Forgive if i have wrong info just back to forums for a few months now after 3 year hiatus

Nothing gonna get me away from my reo but what is all this hype about this Zna mod ?

The Zna looks cool ! Nothing else looks like it - what is so special about the dna 30 chip? I guess i can do that research part on my own (dna 30 part) - just curious of all the buzz on the zna. Im of the opinion that most of the vaping experience is really the atomizer and e juice. Everything else is just a battery. There are plenty of vv/vw mods out there so what makes this so special ? (Im not knocking it - comes across bad in writing)

Please note : i love the maker of ZNA - i hope we can buy out all of there units and they perform great for everyone. Saw an interview with him and seems really nice and cares and he is proud of employing people in the usa and plans to continue to do so as long as he cans - i wish great success to him, his company and to fellow vapers that get there hands on that sexy beast...

DNA 30 is from a well respected company called Evolv. What makes it special is in it's specs see http://www.evolvapor.com/datasheet/dna30.pdf.
To summarize there are not many regulated mods that can fire atomizers as low and can handle 30W. I guess the interface speaks for itself but it's a pretty neat little board.
Mods that use this board are are holders for the board and incorporate some kind of power supply.
I think the popularity of the ZNA is due to its unique design, craftsmanship and integrated DNA 30 board. Probably lots of things will be added but this is a good start.

DNA's, including the ZNA are nice PV's provided you don't mind the price. However probably 99% of people have no need for 30 watts. I vape in the 7-8 watt range for example, so why would I want one. A Provari is a better fit for me. For some folks the DNA-30 APV's are the perfect solution for what they need.

Thanks for the link and info from thr different posters. Kinda what i thought but i appreciate your thoughts and input. I heard they coming up with a 70 watt regulated mod too. When does it stop ? The watt wars !! I guess its like building/buying a Lamborghini when speed limit is 65. Glad to see the industry evolving so fast. I wonder what happens to the price 0f the dna 20 boards or mods - wish them great success. .... i should be wishing you and me great success these mods sell out in a few hours. They dont need my luck. Lol. Gracias !

Edit: cool looking board and specs on the 30 - amazing how that board just somehow makes the machine do what we want. Electronics way above me. Its just crazy.

DNA 30 - Being able to fire a sub ohm atomizer safely at 30 watts without performance dropping as the battery drains.

ZNA - Has a DNA 30. If you like look and feel. The Z2 threading to allow for a hybrid look while still being able to swap between multiple toppers and also the 510 connector to use any 510 topper. Made from implant grade steel with gold plated contacts and a serious warranty. Made in USA.

For me it's because it's a sexy looking device, crafted by a genius of the Vaping world. The only other device that is as good as looking to me is the wizard evolved titanium. I've only just recently started to see the desire and joy of high watt Vaping as I tend to like mine at 15 watts now which is the limit on anything other than a DNA device. As I contiune to make strides in my builds I can very certainly see that I may go higher on my wattage needs

All good reasons. Thanks for info- id love to vape it myself. When are they releasing them puppies ? I think the 42 custom ones were realized or something and a minor delay now ? Looks like only couple online stores will carry and some brick and mortar will. I bet some people driving 6 hours to a B n M on opening day for sure !

They have been released, but they can not be manufactured very fast, so whenever an online store gets some in they sell out in a minute or two. ElectroNicStix puts up notification on their facebook page a few hours before they put them on the website.

Ya it's definitely a high demand device right now. Apparently it's going to be produced in large quantity, however at this point it is difficult to get a hold of one.
There are more and more high power regulated mods hitting the market. Regulated mods that can handle low/sub ohm vaping (I.e. high power regulation) is the popular.
The DNA 30 is what the specs says it is. Do you need 30W, regulated? Well that's up to you. Maybe you need more ;)
The ZNA design is unique, may not be for everyone, some prefer box mods, others tub mods, the ZNA is some where in the middle. I like the fact that it's possible to use other Zen tubes, and the firing button looks ergonomic. The quality from what I've seen online and read appears to be top notch. Zen and his products definitely have a great reputation.
Am I getting one? Not just yet, I have another DNA 30 on order since last year (Futura by NexGen) that's my next mod (Mark Bugs WAE & a Provari to keep my vape warm in the meantime).
Good luck. Get one and let us know how it goes. ;)

The DNA30 is a great chip set if you want lots of regulated power. It's ability to fire low resistance coils will be a wonderful thing for me since it means I can swap toppers with my mechs (I have one on order). OTOH, the low end of its regulated output is 7-8 Watts which is way higher than I run my clearos and what I think most vapers use. If you drop below that cutoff, it stops regulating and becomes a mech. It's a great niche device.

I'm in the same boat as you running around 20 - 25 watts sub ohm on mech mods. This puppy would be great for me. The 8 watt minimum is not going to be an issue for me. I rarely use clearos and if I would want to I can use my eGo or Spinner. Cartos can generally handle 8 - 12 watts and are my preferred device for low power vaping anyway.

    Bring em on :thumb:

Same here. I run around 20-25 watts on .6 ohms. Love how consistent it is. I know I'm always going to be putting out that power until the battery dies (which never happens because i has spares)

Yep. You open the back and there are two leads hooking up the battery. You unplug them and swap it out, plug back in. Easy as can be!
Interesting, most connections I've seen along these lines are not made for plugging/unplugging very often and tend to wear out quickly. Are these different?
