It is because people are pushing the limits that we are able to achieve better developed devices. Even tootle puffer devices get better with the technology that is required by the more extreme sector. It is all related.

If it weren't for those pushing, we wouldn't have half the stuff for tootle-puffing that we have now.

I'm glad that there are those that are pushing to see what can be accomplished next. It is making my life much easier. I love the fact that because the high wattage vapers need more power, they have developed batteries that can handle it. Which just trickles down to me and now my batteries last far longer than they used to.

Yeah, they have a place in the scheme of things.
I understand.

I'm just coming from a different perspective. Been playing with electronics and batteries all my life.

From my perspective, even with what's available now, nobody's really pushing the envelope.

Toying with things?
Yes
Learning new things?
Yes
Displaying a wide range of engineering from awe inspiring to downright dangerous?
Yes
WAY overpowering batteries and acting like fools?
Well yeah, someone's always going to do that.

Pushing the envelope?
Far from it.

You wait and see.

We're going to blow right past 500 W regulated mods in no time.

I've been saying this for nearly a year. People thought I was insane when 15 watts was the limit.

Probably still do. But it's right around the corner now. ;)

Mr. Longo, that contraption you have there is a circuit breaker :D

Yeah, I know...I'm wrong.
You are CORRECT, Roxy!

Well, correct in that you were wrong [emoji6]

It is not circuit breaker (but it does kind of look like one).

TeeHee. :)

Yes, and to think we all actually quit smoking using methods and equipment like this.

Makes ya proud doesn't it?

When I started the Ego Twist was just hitting the shelves, and Grimm Green was calling it a "game changer". !!! Now it is considered too lowly to even bother with.

I don't consider it too lowly at all. I even have one....somewhere around here.

The Twist WAS a game changer in every respect. A turn of the dial to regulate an eGo? I liked it!

they are bases for protank mini's

edit: Lulz necro... I wanted to answer without reading any of the replies.

So 'bout this Taryn Spin thang...

First off, is it TARYN, as in Karen? Or TARYN, as Marvin. I mean we alllllllllllll know that TARA, the iconic and fictional plantation in the heart of 'Dria country was pronouned TAAAA Ra, as in FAR. No one in their right mind, even those NAMED Tara, would pronounce it like dare-a.

Secondly, you guys with your fancy schmancy spinners. I made my own!

(and not unlike you, DPL, we almost had a severe case of bowling for cats when I did it! Poor kitty won't get near a clothes hanger now.)

Looks very much like a tape measure to me, too, Robino-dahlik! It is NOT however, an atty stand.

<gong>

I was thinking tape measure too, just the shape of that little lip thing that sticks off it.

And relative to your next post... I always said Tara like "dare-uh", but then, I have a cousin named that, and that's how it's pronounced. *shrug* Though that's pretty much the only way I've ever heard it around here. My husband is from Missouri, and always informs me that "New Madrid" is NOT pronounced like a new version of that town in Spain, but "MAD-drid". *shrug* And a town here in Ga named Albany is not pronounced like the one in NY, AHLL-banee, but more like Al-BAN-ee. *shrug again*
