Got many of both the ProTank 2 mini and the Davide mini. ProTank 2 mini comes with a gunmetal colored bottom. Scratch off verified. The Davide mini is a shiny silver. Could be later made up-graded mini's came with the silver bottom, but I just use an AFC and rebuild the coils to get me "there". :)

Yeah - I expect I got them with a couple of ProTanks I got off the classies. I've never owned a Davide, but that doesn't mean much since I've grabbed... "one or two things" that were used previously.

This "research" we did last night, taught me that they were somewhat universal, and I may actually have some need for them (after I run through a few more ceramic coils from another tank/clearo that I could not name right now.

But, ultimately, I learned what they are. And no class I ever took in school was nearly as much fun as this "learning experience" was/is.

I truly do love this place (ECF).

You are correct. If you mix the three primary colors (red, yellow and blue) you will get brown. And all other colors are made from 2 primary colors.

But, if you mix yellow and yellow, you will get yellow :D
Where were you last week when I was needing some brown for the limbs on a touch-up project :D I ended up mixing green, red and yellow and got a pretty nice brown. I was just guessing :D

I've always liked art, though I usually didn't like art classes because they stifle creativity. I don't like being told what I have to do, and what medium I have to use :). My senior year of high school we had a project where we had to copy the style of another artist. I refused to do it. I made my own painting. I got a B for not following directions, but the teacher loved the painting and asked me to sell it after I graduated

No, I didn't sell it. Its still here and hanging on the wall in a room in my house 30 years later.

DP, it IS a fun filled, fantastic, in-Formative forum and the one reason I'm on it most days. Hubby often asks what I'm laughing about. Wish school had been as much fun. Might of done a whole lot better. :)

I can SO relate!!! :)

I never took any art classes, for the exact same reason, but having some art *talent* was very useful in other classes; we had to do some kind of project on the skeleton in human physiology, so I took the 2" tall pic of a skeleton in the text book and freehand drew it, perfectly to scale, on a full length (18"?) of white construction paper -- it was so perfect, the teacher found it hard to believe I had drawn it freehand, but I pointed out that a) you can't trace thru construction paper, it's too thick, and b) I didn't have access to an overhead projector -- so she accepted it and gave me an A+. :D
