Sometimes that light at the end of the tunnel is the headlight of the train! Lol
The good news is that a good friend of ours lost the back half of his house.......
.........and the Corvette was in the garage in the front half. Whew!

I was worried for a moment about your definition of good news..........and the Corvette was in the garage in the front half. Whew!![]()
I was worried for a moment about your definition of good news.
It's been one of those weeks! Had a medical emergency in the family, and we finally got my daughter out of the hospital yesterday afternoon. We finally all got home, mentally and physically exhausted only to have the tornado sirens go off a couple of hours later and have a tornado touch down. It ran a 30 mile long track and began to head straight for my neighborhood!
We got lucky and it veered off just barely south of us. We got lucky, but a lot of people in our area didn't fare so well. It knocked out power and did a lot of damage to a brand new housing edition just a little ways from us.
I know they say when it rains it pours, and I can deal with that, but does it have to have a rain wrapped tornado in the middle of it? I mean, come on. Really?
Oh well, no sense worrying about what we can't change. Luckily, I seem to live in an area that seems to thread the needle. We're a newer housing edition so our power lines are underground. And the really bad weather always seems to head straight for us and then either veers just north or south of us.
Definitely counting our blessings this morning.

Yeah, he has C7.R on pre order and will tell anyone who will stand still long enough. LOL
I've had 2 in the past, been a while, but the woman made me get rid of them.
If you've never owned one you wouldn't fully understand.
I actually got to go to the grand opening of the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green and watch the last of that ZR1 series roll off the line and meet Duntov.
The engine was built in my hometown and my roommate and brother both worked for the manufacturer and we all got to go. Still funny to think a marine engine manufacturer made the LT5 engine for the Corvette ZR1 in podunk Stillwater, Oklahoma. Lol
God I love the Laguna Blue. It's beautiful. So, so jealous, lol.
That's cool. They are a dime a dozen down here since there's no snow. I usually take it out once a week for rides up and down the coast. Mostly drive the truck around town.
Nemesis....OK back on topic. Any guesses folks???? Here's a little more for ya.
