I was worried for a moment about your definition of good news..........and the Corvette was in the garage in the front half. Whew!
Yeah, if we'd have lost the vette my buddy would've been a drooling mental patient. Then I would've had to work on his house by myself.
And when my post was gonna split the pages.......had to do it!

I've had 2 in the past, been a while, but the woman made me get rid of them.

I actually got to go to the grand opening of the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green and watch the last of that ZR1 series roll off the line and meet Duntov.
The engine was built in my hometown and my roommate and brother both worked for the manufacturer and we all got to go. Still funny to think a marine engine manufacturer made the LT5 engine for the Corvette ZR1 in podunk Stillwater, Oklahoma. Lol
I've had 2 in the past, been a while, but the woman made me get rid of them.

That's cool. They are a dime a dozen down here since there's no snow. I usually take it out once a week for rides up and down the coast. Mostly drive the truck around town.
I couldn't find one down here in that color. Found one from a dealer in the Panhandle. Had them ship it down here by carrier. I guess that tells you how much I like the color!
Yeah, I had an RX-7 when I stumbled across my first one. It was too good a deal to pass up.
Having 2 2-seaters was definitely not my brightest decision, or very convenient. Thank god I was single at the time, and the extent of my grocery shopping was beer so there was plenty of room.
