Sooooo why am I already looking to upgrade??? I am eyeballing the ego. I'm not ready to order it because im afraid there may be something else out that that blows that away...lol Im not a tech girl so im not interested in anything to complicated or scary. Any other good ones out there ??? And why do I want to??? haha

Theres nothing wrong with you, its pretty normal actually. Even when your happy with your setup, you still want to try something else.

I do think you would really like a bigger battery PV though. It would be a pretty big upgrade from a slim ecig. The eGos are nice, but personally I like the 3.7V PVs more. Check out the Riva, kGo, and E-Power. They are all very affordable and have 510 connections. With a bigger battery PV you can use LR attys/cartos, which most people prefer.
I use an E-Power and love it. Its the only one out of those that uses non-proprietary batteries. They batteries are alot cheaper and last a long time. I get about a day and a half on one battery using the Ressurector LR cartos.

Oh yeah, welcome to the club! Just think of it as a hobby, you always want something new for your hobby. I just bought another GLV SM for backup, soooooo I really know what you mean :) I am actually really happy with my two types of PV's 808's for a slim and GLV SM for mod. I have no desire to go higher volt at this point, but you never know when the bug will bite! LOL bnrk

Human nature; we like new toys.

The ego is great, it's what I use every day.

The Riva is an ego with 3.7 volts, so has a warmer vape.

The Silver Bullet is sturdy and can run at 3.7 or 6v.

Box mods like the Reo are bottom-feeders that look really cool and hold plenty of juice.

The more technical VV mods are like the Darwin and Provari.

Sent from my easy chair using brainwaves.

Congrats on the two weeks!

I'm going through the same thing. Started with disposables, then bought Greensmokes, then bought an eGo, now I have a ProVari on the way. The eGo works great, but after reading/watching reviews of the ProVari I couldn't resist.

Sorry, but I don't know what's wrong with you...or me. Expensive little hobby so far. But still better than smoking analogs.

I am the same way! Just recently got into smoking e-cigs! I'm not sure why, but I want to upgrade too! I think it is because I want longer battery life and I want it to hold more liquid. I think the starter kit was a good transition though..

Anyway, I found this review helpful! joye ego tank v.s. joye 510 - YouTube

I actually messaged her and she replied really quick! Very helpful, I'm thankful she made this video! I'm going to get one asap! (Btw, it ended up lasting her like 3 1/2 days!!)

No shame in wanting to upgrade, it's like a smoking replacement and hobby at the same time lol.

I went from my penstyle to a KGO in less than 3 weeks as well and it was a really good experience. As far as I'm concerned, if you have the money go for it!

And I totally recommend the KGO, I got it instead of an EGO and it's built like a rock, lasts longer and has higher voltage output.

It's normal i started out with a liquor store ecig which i actually liked a lot then found this fourm and bought a kgo(which i still use and love) batteries on the kgo last me a full day of heavy chain vaping others that don't vape constantly get 1 1/2 to 2 days out of the batteries. Plus i have a bunch of box mods now too lol, now i'm looking for a good tube mod i keep telling myself if i get the tube mod i'll be happy but i know something else will come out and ruin that
congrats on being smoke free for 2 weeks !!!:toast:
here's the link to a great site to buy the kgo, the owner is great and he will help you with anything you need plus use 5off to get an extra 5% off :)

A simple setup is an eGo kit with Boge 2.0ohm cartomizers.

For a non-proprietary setup, I suggest an Indulgence V3 from elitevaporworks.com. Can be run at different voltages depending on the batteries you use. Cheaper in the long run versus the eGo's. If you blow an eGo battery, it'll cost you about $17 or more to replace. With the Indulgence, a battery replacement is about $5 or a tad higher depending on the brand and voltage. Check it out here....Mods. After using so many big battery mods, I'm really impressed with it. It's all mechanical so that's a plus as well.

Both the E-Power and the kGo will give you the long battery life your looking for. kGo batts are 1100mah and E-Power batts are 1050mah. So both will most likely last you at least a day.
Personally I like the E-Power but the kGo is also a great PV. Like hairball said, non-proprietary batteries are much cheaper to replace than proprietary batts. E-Power batteries cost $4 compared to kGo batts that are about $18. Ive never used the Indulgence but that would also be a good non-proprietary battery option. It looks like a really solid PV, and like Hairball said, an all mechanical PV is always nice
The biggest thing I dont like about the kGo/eGos is that the tube, battery, and switch are all one piece. If you need a new battery or you blow a switch you have to replace the whole unit. With the E-Power their all seperate pieces. If you need a new battery, you can buy just a battery. If your switch stops working, you can buy just a switch and continue using your existing tube and battery. It def really helps keep costs down.
I also like that it is easier to carry a spare battery with the E-Power than the kGo. With a non-proprietary PV like the E-Power or Indulgence, its easy to just throw an extra battery in your pocket. The E-Power battery is about the size of a AA but alittle longer. For a proprietary battery PV, to carry a spare battery you basically have to carry a second PV. Its not a huge deal, but for me I work in a financial firm and are always running around to different places. Its much easier to carry a small battery for a spare in my suit pocket than to carry a second PV. For you, it might not be an issue though
