I did this experiment yesterday, because we were talking about it on another forum. I used 3 eye droppers, the type that comes with many premade juices. 3 graduated glass tubes. It took 24 drops of VG to equal 1ml. 38 drops of PG for 1 ml. Tap water was 20 drops for 1ml.
Seems to me that these posts are pretty conclusive evidence that the use of the 'drop' as a unit of measurement can lead to wild inaccuracies.
Why not use syringes or graduated pipettes? At least you will then have consistent, accurate measurements.

As a compromise for smaller mixes I use a Halo dropper which has markings in 1/4 ml increments. Even if they aren't exactly accurate, I can be consistent about how much of each liquid I use. It's glass and cleans up well. The markings haven't come off with a lot of cleanings.

yes i understand that drops can cause inaccuracies, what im trying to do is lessen them. im not asking to find out how many drops of each, but the ratio. i got 3:4, rule62's ratio can be broken down to 12:19 or so. if rounded it would be 3:~5 which is similar to mine
Counting drops never worked out for me, buying cylinders was the best few bux i ever spent on DIY stuff.
