I am going nuts trying to narrow down a mixture and flavor to use. What do you use, and why do you like it? Mention PG, VG or the exact mix ratio if using both, Nicotine level, flavor and supplier.

I was a pack a day smoker of non-menthol cigarettes. I want to find something that will work good for me before waisting a ton of money on trial and error.

All posts are very appreciated. Thanks.

If you want a tobacco-type flavor, someone else will chime in soon, I'm sure. I am such a coffee fan (espresso), though, that a coffee flavor did it for me. (1-1/2 to 2 pad smoker for 45 yrs). I only vape one flavor: 18mg Backwoods Brew Espresso, 70pg/30vg mixture. A friend of mine likes BWB Maxboro, same strength/mixture. Most of the "tobacco" flavors were just a little too "grassy" for me. There's no juice that replicates a burning cig like a burning cig. Good luck. Finding your all-day vape is a journey. Sorry, but that's the way it is.

I mix Dekang flue cured 24mg and Freedom smokes 0mg Virginia 50/50 and I love it. After a month or so I didn't need the 24mg any more and this cuts the flue cured nic while still keeping taste, TH and great clouds of vapor.

I smoked little cigars and cheroots, and I like tobacco flavor so this works for me.

I never had any desire to smoke a peach or a slice of boston cream pie.

Its not really that expensive for diy. Just make small batches. Save the nic for when you get the right flavor then do the math. I get 100mg vg nic b/c 100 mg is easy to cut. 10mg nic is 1 ml in 10 ml bottle, 18 mg = 1.8 ml, 20 mg = 2 ml. I get my vg at hobby lobby. Nic from my freedomsmokes. Flavoring from american eliquid store. Juice that works for me is Djarum Black Clove. I mix 20 ml Nic(100% VG), 20 ml Flavor, 55 ml VG, 5 ml vodka. I was 2 packs a day smoker. I used to buy 2 packs and open both Packs. I smoke 1 whole pack just by traveling to work and back. 3 hrs round trip driving. 20 sticks. ugh thinking bout it now makes me ask myself "Why did I do such a thing?" Now I also do the same thing...I have to tell myself to stop vaping and actually breathe air if not I will just take a a hit every other second.

Just curious:

This is a tobacco flavor ingredients list from a tobacco flavor that I liked, but it is from a vendor that only sells pre-filled cartos, and not the juice. Is there a wayto make this myself, or find someone to make this for me that knows how?

vanilla extract.........................12%
linalool ..................................12%
2,3,5-trimethylpyrazine...........0.3%
menthol.................................1.0%
1-malic acid...........................0.8%
beta-damascenone.................0.2%
acetylpyrazine........................0.5%
tabanone...............................0.3%
vanilla...................................1.5%
ethylacetate...........................0.5%
ehtyl maltol............................0.5%

I'm a relative newbie at this point. After experimenting with lots of pg/vg combos, I find I prefer 70pg/30vg, its like the best of both worlds...the pg holds flavor very well, and the slight vg adds lots of thick vapor making the vape very satisfying and very similar to smoking an analog.

As far as flavors...it's so hard to tell, b/c flavor is sooo subjective as everyone says. Several vendors, such as tasty vapor, mister-e-liquids, diy flavorshack, allow you to choose your pg/vg ratio, and all provide flavorful high quality juices. I suggest you start with samples from vendors, in varying degrees of pg/vg, and pick a variety of flavors, such as fruity, tobacco, "desserty" pastry flavors, and you'll soon figure out what you like best w/o spending tons of time and cash on stuff you may not be in love with.

Personally, I prefer sweet vapes, so I lean towards mister-e-liquids french toast, bloogplanets ry4 cartos (sweet, burnt sugar creme brulee flavor), TV apple pie, TV banana nut bread, and the occasional tobacco flavors which are usually on the sweet side. Tasty vapor flavors have the option to sweeten them or not.

Start with flavors you love in real life, but also try some you are not sure you'd like. I've found some of my favorites are samples that vendors sent with my orders (which I would never have chosen by the way) have turned out to be my favorites. Good luck in your search!
