I know that this has probably been asked a million times, I'm sorry. But the question remains........what mods are your favorites that you have owned/tried. I'm looking to invest, but I want to make the right choice. I'm liking the mini reo or the wetbox (both are out of stock right now) at this point in my research, but I would love any of your opinions on this subject. Thanks.

Check out the "Puck" (search the forums) which can be made with parts from Radio Shack and a 901 atty & cart. It uses regular AAA rechargeable batteries and is said to produce clouds of vapor....

I made mine today and it's all set except I only ordered the 901 atty & carts today. Everything else is done, I just have to install the atty when it gets here.

I was looking at the wetbox (which seems reasonable at $55+/-) but the reo looks expensive, I could find a price anywhere. The wetbox only has a 14 day warranty and with issues with the first models I'd want a longer warranty.

The Puck was fun to make and a learning experience. The designer and others are working on a juice delivery system too...

Regards!

UPDATE::: I got the 901 atty today and completed my Puck. This thing is awesome!! Big puffy clouds of sense and flavorful vapor.... and so simple to make. This is a winner!!

I ordered a 5v GLV2 a week ago, but have not received it yet, just damn. I did a lot of research and ask many questions and the GLV2 was recommended twice as many times as the second place mod which was a tie between the Buzz and the Prodigy V3. The big reason for this according to people who owned multiple PV's was the button on the GLV2 was superior to any other mod.

I haven't really been looking into anything vaping for a while, but I just had a look to see if there was any news on the new Precious, and what has been mentioned about it on the site sounds excellent: M401C Starter kits Reckon I might wanna gets me one of those when they come out. Are there any other new units around or in the pipeline that seem as good or better than this? I'm still pretty happy with my Silver Bullet, though the size and apparent build quality of the Precious has had me wanting one for a while, but I've been holding off for the new features.

The Buzz looks very interesting. If I were going to purchase one today.. that is what I would save up to buy.

That being said... here are the ones I have bought and tried, and my opinions (since you asked!)
*****************************************************************************

Homemade box mod: it was ok../ but too cumbersome for my tastes

Chuck: very sturdy, fired great.. a little too harsh../to heavy for my hands

homemade Laser: great size, a little tempermental, nice size (gave this one away unfortunately.. wished I had kept it)

Laser: also great size.. fired perfectly, didn't like the atty fitting (also gave away)

Saber Touch: beautiful mod, very heavy/ had difficulties getting it to fire because of the touch points

Provape: love this mod, fires everytime, nice fit in my hands, no issues (even bought it used) .. plan to keep indefinitely

Chameleon: neat mod, multiple attachments, had a few problems (bought used) but wonderful wonderful Customer Service at Ikenvape!

Brass Bolt: (don't know manufacturer?) a little strange to fire this one, have not used much

Carlos Juice Box: similar to the homemade box mod, but with a bottle feeder. Difficult to operate.. had trouble getting the juice to the atty

GG Slim: also a great little mod. Fits really nic in my hands but the button is in a strange place (on bottom)

I've also had the 'smaller mod types':
*****************************

Ego: good for a beginner stepping into the world of mods.. gives a highter battery life and you can increase the experience w/LR atties

Riva: works w/eog, and is exactly the same in my book

Hello 16: I never tried the completed piece.. I only had parts, but it didn't work with my other stuff the same as the Ego/Riva

HTH!

Watcha, I have the GGTS with AVS (automatic vaping system)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely amazing piece of technology. Can take any atty and due to the telescopic feature can take a wide variety of voltages (ie. different sized batteries or multiple). Expensive to buy the whole kit as well as the upgrade options, but once invested you shouldn't have to buy another PV!!!!!!!!!! Happy vaping!!!!!!!!!
