Thank u for the compliment on the thread, I have had my own issues with picking unvapeable juice, and some of it came highly reviewed. Then I started looking at the reviewer, what do they vape, what do they like? I also look at how long they have been vaping, not that I am biased towards noobs, we all were at one time, right?

but I find that ppl who have not been vaping long, are still in what I call their honeymoon period with vaping (hey, I did it too) they love everything and have a somewhat skewed view of what things taste like.
At the same time, I don't get alot from some reviewers who go over my head and describe juice like expensive wine, frankly I have no idea what they are talking about, lol. Myself, I judge a juice based on a few simple things.
1) what it smells like
If your nose picks up something funky, listen to it!! I have never liked a juice that did not smell right to me
2) what it tastes like on the inhale,
Are u picking up the flavor it is supposed to be? Are u picking up anything? Are u picking up something that should not be there?
3) what it tastes like on the exhale
Are the flavors changing? Do u pick up other flavors? Plus usually at this point I know if it's going to be strong enough, it seems to me that some flavors u can taste on the inhale, but they wimp out on the exhale. To me a good juice stays with you through both inhale and exhale.
4) aftertaste
This can be good or bad, obviously I don't want a bad aftertaste, lol but I do so enjoy a flavor that lingers, a sweetness that stays.
Of course some ppl are into throat hit, and I like it in some of my juices, but I don't have to have it. I don't know that it is fair to judge a juice flavor based on if it has throat hit, IMO, that can be added if needed. To me and again just my preference I would much rather have a good flavor than good throat hit. The same with vapor, I like vapor, but I don't have to have billowing clouds of it, I would rather have a good flavor. More vapor can be adjusted with vg. But hey that's just me
