I agree with the guy that posted that the device and accessories make a huge difference on the juices and flavors, so I'm using a Provari with SR boge 3.0 in atank most of the time, and also dripping to a LR306 for better taste reference.

1.) Tobacco-RY4 and 555 but more custom made types not the basic Dekangs , ex. NLV renegade, FSUSA RY4, Highbrow RY4, Pinkspot Outlaw 555
2.) Menthol- never tried it, never smoked menthols , figured I wouldn't vape it, one was close FSUSA Royal
3.) Coffee- nope
4.) Bakery- nope
5.) Cinnamon- don't like cinnamon even in my food
6.) Vanilla- I've only had 1, Quicnic Vanilla bacco, NO GOOD for me
7.) Fruit-Peach, tried a few, FSUSA peach, BWB Peach, VR peachwood, and my favorite Johnson Creek Summer Peach
8.) Candy- nope
9.) Misc.- Vermillion River's Hard Lemonade, Fun to vape for sure.

Most of the stuff I vape are tobacco related , seems to be my palatte, others tried include, Halo Midnight apple, tribeca, VR premium, blend 7, Bounty Hunter, Boba's , Line rider, KBV ry4,555, many more than I care to list.

Nice thread Lethalp !!!

Thank u for the compliment on the thread, I have had my own issues with picking unvapeable juice, and some of it came highly reviewed. Then I started looking at the reviewer, what do they vape, what do they like? I also look at how long they have been vaping, not that I am biased towards noobs, we all were at one time, right? :) but I find that ppl who have not been vaping long, are still in what I call their honeymoon period with vaping (hey, I did it too) they love everything and have a somewhat skewed view of what things taste like.

At the same time, I don't get alot from some reviewers who go over my head and describe juice like expensive wine, frankly I have no idea what they are talking about, lol. Myself, I judge a juice based on a few simple things.

1) what it smells like
If your nose picks up something funky, listen to it!! I have never liked a juice that did not smell right to me

2) what it tastes like on the inhale,
Are u picking up the flavor it is supposed to be? Are u picking up anything? Are u picking up something that should not be there?

3) what it tastes like on the exhale
Are the flavors changing? Do u pick up other flavors? Plus usually at this point I know if it's going to be strong enough, it seems to me that some flavors u can taste on the inhale, but they wimp out on the exhale. To me a good juice stays with you through both inhale and exhale.

4) aftertaste
This can be good or bad, obviously I don't want a bad aftertaste, lol but I do so enjoy a flavor that lingers, a sweetness that stays.

Of course some ppl are into throat hit, and I like it in some of my juices, but I don't have to have it. I don't know that it is fair to judge a juice flavor based on if it has throat hit, IMO, that can be added if needed. To me and again just my preference I would much rather have a good flavor than good throat hit. The same with vapor, I like vapor, but I don't have to have billowing clouds of it, I would rather have a good flavor. More vapor can be adjusted with vg. But hey that's just me ;)

I agree with most of what you're saying but the part of what it smells like can be complicated (I mean what it smells like when vaped, not from the bottle). Take Halo's juices for example: I find it hard to vape them indoors because a lot of people won't like the smell; still, they're some of the best vapes around. Now, take Dekang: several Dekangs smell a bit like brown sugar or something and not everybody likes that - still, they have some very good juices and a good name. Quite frankly, it seems to me that the only pre-made juice I have that bothers no one around is Joyetech' MAB. It's not oe of my favourites. I simply like it. But what I find is that it's not risky to vape it anywhere I want to. It's weird when people say the vapour doesn't smell because it really does. I even emailed Halo once to ask if they couldn't fix it without changing the flavours and they replied that unfortunately it was impossible - as I thought too...

I'm a semi-noob and everything tastes great to me...well not everything but i totally get what you are saying, but i just can't help myself..lol

I'm a fruit person and started to DIY so considering i'm on my hooneymoon i feel like every juice i make is great...i would consider myself a genius, if the fact woudn't be i'm a noob.. :)

Vaping is so much fun..:vapor:

Hello all,
Thought I would give this thread a lil update, tho not much has changed as far as my tastes, lol

I am still firmly in my sweet and bakery phase, tho I have dipped into the tobacco pool a lil bit. I know I am not ready to tackle that yet because I see the ppl who vape tobacco have a long hard way to go and I just don't wanna get into that yet. Plus I spent 15 yrs trying to get away from it, why would I wanna vape it when there are all these other yummy flavors out there that don't remind me of a really long really bad date??
