I liked the 510 but I ended going with the other one I tried and really liked. I wish I could remember which company it was from, because it was pretty good. The one I picked is made by Revolver. They call it the "Elite", I have no idea what model it is. I couldn't find it anywhere on their site and I can't find a lot about it on the forums. I saw it called a 702 but then I saw that corrected by a few people as being the PCC model and not the ecig itself... It's the size of a regular smoke and it comes with a PCC that holds your carts and charges a battery. I like it and have no intentions of replacing it.

The only con to it really is that the battery doesn't last very long, but it isn't that big of a con because the PCC has one charged and ready to go by the time it dies. Only other cons I have come with all ecigs, like refilling all my carts with juice every night. I've gotten used to it though. It's a part of my routine now before I go to bed. Oh yeah: the charger cord for the PCC is also kind of short. Kind of sucks, but I'll live.

Pros:

  • Longest battery life of e-cigs it's size (I regualrly get 3 - 4 hours fairly heavy vaping out of it)
  • Manual & Auto batteries available
  • Good amount of vapour
  • Decent throat hit
  • Good flavour
  • Small enough to carry all the spares I need for a full day in a tobacco tin (batteries, carts, spare atties etc..)
  • The current carts wick the liquid until they're bone dry (no wastage or having to salvage liquid from half used carts (as I've found with other models))
  • White & brown with orange LED in situations that you don't went to draw attention to the fact you're vaping as opposed to smoking
  • Black / Black & silver / stainless with blue LED for situations where you want to make it clear that you're not smoking
  • Reliable suppliers

Cons:

None that I can think of

Low bridge penstyle attys (RN4072, 302, BE112). Great flavor, large size cart (great with straw mod). Down side is they do leak, but on a sealed battery or big battery mod it isn't an issue. I'll still use the high bridge DSE801 attys, but they just don't seem to cut it on big battery units.

Do have lots of love for my 510 and rotate that in all day too. Wonderful with menthol.

Manual Mini Pipe (RS888) for me, now in combination with the USB adapter, either at the computer or with a battery pack, brilliant !

I like the penstyle sized atomizers for the longer life of the carts (compared to smaller ones like 510) and I love the Mini Pipe atty's because of the fantastic flavour they give me. Now with the USB adaptor I also get longer life out of my atty's and no more fiddling around with batts (although I was not unpleased at all with the performance of the batts that come with the Mini Pipe), which makes it the ultimate PV for me !

Cheers,
Silver

M201 penstyle for me.
I was using 510s but the tweaks to get it to work and the topping off weren't for me. I went with the penstyle for longer battery life and twice the cartrige size. I've not experienced any leaks as reported with other models. Also the attys seem to not need as much maintenance with no burnt taste. Two batteries and two or three carts last me all day depending on how much I vape. I still use my Pass Through for my 510 when at the computer but otherwise use the pen style.

I use 510s at work and mods with the 510 atty at home. The only other type I've used was the SE Gold I started out with. Loved the 510 and stuck with it. I honestly have had no problems (yet) with them. The battery life is short but since I use them at work that doesn't matter to me. I don't mind tinkering with it at work helps pass the time.

Now that's interesting. Occasionally I drag my old auto mini-pipe out. With a Janty KBC atomiser it still works well - but not as well as the Stick imho, and I need to use cartridges with it. Does the manual version make a big difference, Silver? And how does the USB adapter work?

510 with PCC. I have 2 standard (thus PCC compliant) batteries so by the time one is emptied the other is fully charged, so no issue ! i love it :)

I work from home and vape nearly continuously since maybe 2 months, no atomizer issue. I have two new atomizers just in case, but the original one is as efficient as ever. Cleaned it with water once when it went bitter for some reason, otherwise at best i just let it purge on a sheet of paper at night. I will certainly not use alcohol, soda, even less compressed air, the thing doesn't look like it will appreciate any of that...

Tried the Fifty-One, it was okay but wanted to be able to reload the cart. I got through the cartomizers that came with it and five others then it was put away and hasn't been out again.
Tried the 901, it was pretty good. The atty's for this still work but you have to keep them wet or they have a burnt taste.
Then came the 102. The batteries from the starter kit kicked ..... Then order more attys and batteries and so far the batteries have been on the bad side of so-so.
Bought a RN4081. Didn't like this one, mainly because of the batteries. Sold it to someone who wanted to give vaping a try. Guess they were good enough to win him over. He bought another model and I bought back the pieces parts to the starter kit and spare attys. Connectors came off the batteries and a mod made and the attys work great.
The same is happening to the batteries of the 102 as they go bad. Hopefully my mods last a long time because I don't use the spare batteries too much anymore and I do hate the thought of doing in a good battery.

Penstyle for me. I like the RN4072 for use with the standard battery. Will use the BE112 for HV vaping. I also use the RN4062 e-Cigar on a daily basis as well. Both are my models of choice due to long lasting batteries, large carts, great flavor & vapor production.

I've tried pretty much everything out there and always come back to the Penstyle as my main PV.

Hi E-Pipeman, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner .

For me the manual works much better because, as with most manual devices, I can control the amount of heat better (without sucking my brains out  !) It keeps the atty's cleaner so they last longer for me (we all know about the MP atty issues, right ?).

The USB adapter is a device created by PartySmoker in Holland (AFAIK anyway). It replaces the battery and has a port to connect a USB cable to. Check out the pic to see what I mean, it's pretty self explanatory I think.

I use it either at the computer or in combination with PS's battery pack ( which can last me several days of pretty much continuous vaping before needing another charge !), which means I don't need to fiddle around with batteries anymore unless I go out and don't want to carry the battery pack with me at the time.

By the way, the battery pack actually gives the option of various voltages; from 3.3 to a maximum of 9.5 volts ! I know some people on the Dutch forums vape at 6.5 volts, but I do believe (from what I've read) that this can shorten atomizer life, understandable I guess...

So for me the option of vaping the Mini Pipe on USB is the ultimate solution. I'm still very fond of the flavour that these atty's give, I just buy them in bulk now :D !

Hope this helps !

Cheers,
Silver
