Just the folks I need to talk to....... I am about to build my first MadVapes 510 AA box mod, sans instructions no less, but am a bit confused about what atmo/carto/clearo to get for it as I am pretty new to this building your own mod and the whole ohms, low res/hi res has me CONFUSED!!! Last week I got some clearomizers and really did like the idea of not having to mess with it all the time as I like to direct drip & the vape was pretty close to when I drip the liquid. ANY advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

There's instructions on building boxmods here MadVapes e-Cig 'How To' Tutorials • View forum - Box Mods. As far as what resistance rating to use, I mostly use 1.7 to 2.0 ohm atty's. The batteries come off my charger around 4.2 volts and a 1.5 ohm atty sometimes burns the juice while a 2.5 ohm doesn't produce enough vapor for me.

You couldn't have made a better choice for a first mod. I've found mine to be reliable and durable. I own a bunch of vaping gear, but the RS is what is in my hand when I leave the house every day.

Hi just got the Maxi RS v2 with the BR-1206W charger. Added two UF 18650 2400mAh batts.
Now, less than a week later, I ordered the short bottom tube and 2 18350s.

I'm going to try to seal the atty connector from the inside with RTV.
Dripping with Smok Tech 2.0 ohm attys. Want to try the clearomisers.

Also, I want to put a rec out to anyone using a passthru . Get the usb 2 amp wall adaptor. A must have IMO .
