I love my Kanger subtank mini. So much so, that I've abandoned my Aspire nautilus. Can I rebuild an Aspire BVC at a subohm resistance of around 0.5Ω - 0.7Ω? Or will bad things happen?

I'm not sure why you Couldn't Try?

I rebuilt this Full Size nautilus dual coil head and put 1 coil of 28 guage in it came out to .77 ohms runs pretty good flavor and vapor......I drilled out the 4 juice holes

and plugged 2 opposing holes with a tooth pick and cut off the toothpicks up close to the head.....

I used 5 wraps and heated the coil and kept it squeezed about 5 seconds and it holds it's shape......slide jewlers screwdriver through the enlarged hole and hold

the little coil and pull leeds tite and put insulator and pin back in and it worked nicely. You should be able to rebuild the BVC coil with the help of youtube....

and fashion something like this----maybe install your coil sideways instead of verticle.....
