It's windy, USA
The subtank is way more forgiving of lower wattages than some of the others, with people getting vapes at 15-25 watts. Your options are fairly limited there still for $30, and remember it's 25nm so looks pretty large on something like a Vamo. I'd suggest something like an MVP 20w on sale, or maybe an istick 20w or vamo v6/v7.

I've seen the iStick 30w is around $31-40, and that one can fire down to 0.4ohm, so you could use both coils.

Honestly with the 30w being basically the same price as the 20w its hard to recommend a 20w. They fixed a lot of issues the 20w had with the 30w.

The subtank would probably look a bit goofy on the iStick though, heh. Let me go find mine, and I'll post a quick pic.

You could consider the iStick 30watt.

They made changes to many of the concerns people had with the original iStick 20watt. It still runs HOT but it can accommodate larger diameter tanks with the new redesign of the top. $31.49 is the lowest price I've seen. Not sure how long this deal is good for.

What vamo will work or box mod?
I do not like the look of the iStick and subtank.

I do not know about vamos, but it looks good on a Hana style box IMO.

It would look good on several other boxes too, basically any of them that are 25mm or wider.

I will be buying it on ebay.

Do you already have the Subtank?

If not, you may be better off looking at the subtank mini, its 22mm, and would look better on more devices.

Had kanger launched them all at the same time I would have bought the mini. If I had known it was coming out I would have waited for it. Still love my subtank, its just damn large, and really only looks good on two of my mods.

I have the Subtank.
I have the k100 telescopic mod.
I am looking to blow clouds of smoke and cannot with that mod.

Hmm, you should be able to get enough power on the mech with the 0.5 ohm coil for the subtank.

One of the two box mods I use this on is a Hammond MOSFET mech box, and it works well with the 0.5o coil.

Now the 1.2o coil and a mech will not be so great for vapor production, but they still do OK.

Howdy,

30 bucks is pretty slim on budget, but do-able. Did you hit up the classified section yet and check local B&M shops. Sometimes you can grab some serious deals there for what your looking for. If 30 is your total then I'd say do that if not then mechanical mods come in at that price range but you've still got the cost of charger and batteries to add on to it (and Mechanical mods are not regulated, so if you wanted that add in a kick option as well).

If you can see your way free of a few more bucks, or save up and do it once then I'd look to a descent quality VW/VV mod of your choice, just make sure that it can drop down to your lowest oHm rating that you'll go to. I don't even plan on pushing my builds below .5 but my mod goes to .15 just in case. Hardware rarely goes bad but batteries do eventually so whatever you decide to invest in make sure that you can replace the batteries as it will save you in the long run (and save the planet as well).

Some tips and tricks I've learned over the years of vaping, hopefully they help you out some in the long run.
