When dealing with an unknown flavor percentage, I start at 10% ( small test mixture) then go up or down by degrees.

I would need to know what brand of flavoring it was - this is very important because flavorings can be used from .25% - 20+%. And there are flavoring brand threads where people have said what amount they use of a specific brand. 10% of some brands will totally kill the flavor - so be careful.

OMG start with 1% and work up :) FA = Flavourart is stronger than a lot of flavorings so you can use wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much accidentally :) Ok reread my Word doc. and it says start with 2% so there ya go - if you go past the good for you percentage it can taste like not enough flavoring so if that happens back up like -point 5%- at a time till it comes back.:p Good Luck:toast: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/229604-flavour-art-tobacco-flavors.html Also you may need to steep this since it is a baccy flavor and most need to be steeped for at least a few weeks most need at least a month:vapor:

Ok I was a loyal customer of FSUSA until they raised their prices almost 100% so now I'm going to diy. So I'd like to get as close as possible to what I'm used too and need to know what % of flavor they use? I only vape camtel so the recipe should be pretty straight forward.

I am new to this, I got some e juice from evevaporsonline. Great taste! But I dont quite yet understand the pg/vg ?? They are 65/35 can someone help explain.

You may or may not come close to what you are looking for. The names may sound the same, but that does not necessarily mean the taste of one flavoring will remotely resemble another. Did someone that knows the taste of what you are trying to match recommend that specific flavoring, or is it something you have had before and think it will be a good fit? If not and you are just taking a shot in the dark, it may be useful to start a thread like, "Trying to clone FSUSA Camtel," to see if anyone here is familiar with that premade juice and can recommend something.

When they say 65/35 PG/VG, they meany 65% PG and 35% VG. Note that there is no standard order to the PG/VG; it can also be expressed as VG/PG, so the 35/65 and the PG/VG are both required. In other words, if someone just says 65/35, you do not know which is PG and which is VG.

I have been vaping Cam-Tel Ultimate from FlavorArt for over 4 years and and have been getting it from FSUSA and know what they are using I just need to try to find out what the % is they use in that flavor.

Well then you are most of the way there already. Maybe someone has a straightforward answer, but barring that the best approach is start low and work your way up. But the other factor is steeping; most tobacco type flavorings are not very good when first mixed and need some time and/or heat to fully develop. See dannyv45's blog for details on that aspect.
