I am finding that the juices I enjoyed in tanks and clearomizers, and what have you, are not working for me in rda's. I usually like sweet, candy, fruit, MT. Dew type stuff, but I am finding it is wayyyyyy to sweet, sickly sweet in rda's. Is this normal, do most people, once you move to mods and RDA's move away from the sweet type juices. If so, what are some suggestions for juices more suited for RDA's. I always wondered why anyone would like custard juices, now I think I may get why.

Drippers vaporize a greater amount of liquid in generally a more condensed vape... you'll have to figure out your flavors all over again unfortunately... at least i did a few years back after switching. Good news is that if there were flavors you didn't find strong enough you'll likely be surprised when you try them again.

You could try diluting it with unflavored juice. Not saying it works for everyone or even every flavor. I vape mostly unflavored juice..... One day I added an older flavor I still had (use or toss them) to a half full RTA before leaving the house just to top it off..... It tasted good again. Wasn't like it used to be, but close enough I'm buying it regularly again and diluting it 50% :)

I'm having the same experiance. There are some "fog" juices available from some vendors that are built to be run in a lower ohm build rda. I think they have less flavor than the regular bottles, and generally lower nic too. Like the previous poster said - its atomizing much faster so you are getting a denser vape - more nic, more flavor - some times too much of both! you could build a bit higher ohm coil(s) if you want to go through those juices before experimenting with other.. 1.2 single micro coil is a good spot for me on "standard" juices at my standard nic level.

you start out with a lot of flavor because most juices are geared more towards the average user using a clearo or something... then you are amplifying this flavor further with high power and then further with a small chamber rda's and perhaps even further with microcoils, there is so much amplification going on that yeah it becomes overwhelmingly flavorful to the point that it's just too much

I dilute all of my store bought juices with flavorless base. I usually only add 10% store bought to 90% unflavored and I still get more than enough flavor but still get a great vape instead of sickening flavor overload. some very light juices I can go as high as 20% but never more than that and many times I do less than 10% too... sometimes all it takes is 5% or even less

best thing I could advise is to get some unflavored base and vape just that alone and then try it with just a bit of store bought juice mixed in, you should find that many of the juices that are now unvapable will become a whole different story when you dilute it and also find that unflavored gives a nice fresh clean vape all by itself

My experience is that different liquids taste differently in different atties and on different wicking materials.

I vape a lot of M&P Tobacco Praze. My Kraken is sort of my benchmark... where the Praze simply tastes... "Praze". Fill it in my another gennie, and it tastes slightly more liquorish-ish. Another atty makes it tastes more caramel/RY4-ish. Other atties again may bring out more of the tobacco flavor. Always wondered why one atty makes it taste liquorish-ish. Can't imagine there being any liquorish-flavor in it.

I also have this cherry flavor I like a lot. On mesh wicks it tastes sour-ish and isn't all that great. On ekowool/cotton and such, it's really nice and sweet.

(I think) my point is: ... actually... I have no idea. Something something not all juices go with all atties something.

chamber size is a big factor on resulting flavor, even small changes in chamber size can affect the flavor one way or the other where smaller amplifies overall but also amplifies certain notes more than others... also the coil size makes a difference, and dual coils need a slightly larger chamber or flavor will be boosted even more... then we get into twisted wires which also really amplifies certain notes of the flavor, sometimes for the better, sometimes not... a lot of variables but once you start with higher powered drippers then universally flavor will be boosted quite a bit

there are so many variables that affect flavor so most atties will taste different from even a similar but different one, the way the air flows, the way the top cap transitions to the drip tip, so many things affect the flavor

I think I'll look into some plain base and mess around a bit. Probably a good time as any to start thinking about DIY juices, also look into some custards and other flavors I hadn't considered before RDA's and mods. BM and AM, before mod and after mod, lol.
If you do decide to go DIY, check out the threads on here about that before going at it yourself, or even buying anything... there's lots of helpful people and info.... in fact, ECF helped me with when I first started making liquid.

-edit-
Also, all unflavored is, is PG/VG and nicotine, So if your don't want to do a complete DIY, you could buy higher strength liquid from whoever you like with or without a double shot of flavor, and just dilute it with PV/VG.
