Got a Red Dragon last month, and I'm enjoying it somewhat. Many of the carts don't last long though before they have that terrible burned paper dry taste. From what I understand that was the old batch of cartridges that came in 4 packs. Well that wasn't going to deter me so I got a bunch of the new 5 packs as "Refill Cartridges for PR111" from premiumecigarette which I BELIEVE is compatible because I read they are compatible with Vapor King and Vapor King is compatible with Red Dragon. I also got a USB pass through which is compatible with the PR111 which I hope is compatible with the stuff I already have.

Holy hell all these models are confusing me.

So I feel really confused as this point. Here's what I'm trying to figure out:

What other batteries, cartridges, and USB chargers can I use with the 4 Red Dragon batteries I already have?

Is there a refillable cartridge I can buy that works with this model? Is there any place online that lists all these brands so I can just see a nice long list of compatible models and sites?

I started with the red dragon. And at the time I liked it, but the cartridges did not last long at all. I got some eliquid and dripped for awhile, and that made it better. The smoke 51 is compatible. Their cartridges fit on the red dragon just fine, and if you go to e-cig.com they have the cartridges a lot cheaper. Just look for the cartridges for the e9. It takes about 10 days to receive your order. But then I found this forum. I decided to take the plunge and get a 901 after reading. I haven't looked back. The taste is just so much more. The vapor is just so much more too. The red dragon was fine and it got me down to about 5 cigs a day, but after I received the 901, it went to 0.

I'm pretty sure the RD battery will work with a 901 atty, or is it the other way around where the RD cartomisers work on the 901 battery?

Sort of. The threads of the 901 battery sort of line up but there is a tiny gap between the cartridge and the battery. It will work, but you have to double hit it.

Is it a kr808-whatever? I think they are being sold in malls and flea markets too. How many different units are there that use cartomizers? I think that is what "smoke this not that" is selling. They don't say. It seems to be a better unit than the other mall junk, just overpriced.

I have a cartomizer from one of the "smoke this not that" ecigs. It threads to the 901 batt. The draw is easy but not near the vapor or hit of a 901.

Your best bet is to go to the chinese web sites and figure out what it is, then disregard all the "names" the distributers give it.

From another thread, maybe this will help illuminate what mystery model this thing is:
Having only been vaping for 3 months, and having only owned 5 different models, I suppose I'm still a newB, but I'm telling you the Red Dragon or the same things: Bloog, Magnum EAZE, Smoke 51, Loong Totem V9 or e-cig E9) are a favorite of mine.

I went to buyreddragon(dot)com and it still looks like an M401 to me. I've only seen those little cordless chargers for the 401. Battery looks like a 401 too.

Nah, the threads are in a different position. Get a close up view of their batteries and compare it to a M401 battery. The threads on the M401 don't go all the way to the base like the ones on the Red Dragon. Though, they might be the same pitch, which would explain why that charger works.

Yup - we determined that it's not a 401. Seems we're looking at a cartomiser.
A while back, I read a few posts where some supplier had really great prices on them. There was another bunch who were having success in refilling them. It's probably a job for the Search Function at this point.

Before I would give up, I would try the 24mg flue cured carts from e-cig.com. Or Try dripping your old ones with some good juice.

My second e-cig was a Red Dragon, after a Gamucci Elite disposable. I didn't really like vaping until I tried the above carts. Good flavor, throat hit and I did refill them. A few drops from the battery end dripped through the hole, capped and left over night did me just fine. I would drip like 4 or 5 at a time and rotate them.

I modded the Gamucci elite in a box mod and then bought a 901. Sent back the Red Dragon and gave the carts to my co-worker...long story short.

Now I switch between my 901 and my new 510...Evolution I guess.

BTW, I tried an old RD Cartomizer on my 901 battery today (because it fit)...not bad. Not good, but it did work. Don't know if the 901 atty works the same way on the RD battery.

It is a learning process and an evolution in progress.
