Hey guys as I find myself favoring my RDA more and more I want to give pass-through's a try. 90% of my vaping time is in front of my computer/tv in my humble abode, so I thought "Why not use my computers power to save my batteries?". Now I'm a VERY active guy in fact most of the time wherever I'm vaping outdoors I'm usually busy doing manly things or doing some kind of extreme outdoor sport (snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking, rugby, sometimes skateboarding and even skydiving) so I don't usually use my batteries up too much, however I've broken, yes broken quite a few (pre-ordered the big nasty to prevent that :p), but I still find myself forgetting to have some charged batteries with me, so anything that can help my clumsy forgetful self will be appreciated.

I've done some research already and being a fan of innokin anyway I like their iTaste VV V3 pass-through (video below), it has alot of the features I want anyway which are:
-at least 5 volts
-variable voltage
-a screen (or at least some way to see settings)
-disconnectable (I don't think I'd like laying down my RDA's on the side, if not disconnectable I'll just build a holder for it whatever lol)
-the ohm meter is pretty sweet too but this is least important, I just like to see numbers :D

-So any suggestions on some capable pass-throughs would make my day ladies and gentleman, I like high watts too so anything OVER 5volts would be almost a sold device, but mainly I'd like it to be precise and let me control that power.

-Thanks in advance you cool cats :2cool:

I haven't researched pass throughs - others will give you recommendations - but I do know that the V3 uses the battery at all times and only charging its battery when you are not vaping. So not a true pass-thru to me.

Thank you that's good to know, I don't think I'd vape this to the bone or anything, but if it doesn't charge it right after I let go of the button I don't think it's for me. It'd be awesome to have a device with a screen and that literally controls the power passing through it, that's what I'm looking for.

If I'd get a pass through, I think I'd rather power it from the wall, especially if i was going to do high power vaping. Always thought these were pretty cool.
Saber Touch Passthru

That's almost exactly what I'm looking for, thank you sir! Awesome price too, better priced than almost any vv mod out there, I like how they are a smaller company too.

I was very surprised to find out the my MVP 2 would fully charge while I was vaping and, of course, using it as a pass thru. I found that out when it was my only mod at the time and the 2600 mah would only last me a day, if I was lucky.

Very cool, that may be the winner sir. I didn't even look at it because I didn't know they were pass-thru either. Is that actually in the design to be able to pass-thru? That's something I could lean against my desktop while it's not being used as well.

I bought one from Desert Vapes that is VV but really it is a choice of 4 volt settings. Works well from my computer or a 2A lighter adapter. Then I bought a iTaste VV V3 for ~$26 from Completevape. Then a $10 cable because the included one stinks IMO. With the VV I can unplug and walk about. For a few hours. Then charge and vape when plugged in.
