I'm considering buying a GUS myself, which do you have and how do they well do they work? The fuse thing is whats making me wait until I feel like I understand them better. From my what I understand through my recent researching is that the size of the screw needed is an M5 screw. I've found brass ones on amazon but they're to long (25mm). From what I've gathered this is the same size as the GP paps, since they're very similar mods. I've looked on vapourart.com and they have a replacement brass center pin for about 5 euro's with something like 4 or 5 euros to ship - comes out to around 20$ US. Kinda pricey, can you not just remove the fuse and use it without it? that's the question I've been trying to get answered, I posted about a week ago but no one responded which sucks because I know alot of people here have GUS mods....

The fuse that GUS uses takes place of the center pin. You can remove it but you have to put something else in it's place. Dspin and Qorax have both done a bit of pictorial work in testing different center pins from mods in the Gus. You can also buy the 20amp from Gus or Ebay, they are available online as well, both Amazon and Ebay have them as well as several online electronics retailers.

Edit: I might as well stop being lazy and link the thread; http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/apv-discussion/526978-gus-lord-telescopic-mod-pictorial.html

Thanks for the info guys! I think I'm going to stop at a local hardware supplier and see what I can find. I looked at the Gp pins and the M5 screw is drilled and tapped M3 for adjustment. If I can find both sizes I'll use my lathe to do the M3 threads.

Cantstopwontstop, I have 2 GUS Core G22s, and a Lord on the way. I'm really liking the feel of the button with the bearing in it. The build quality is top notch and the price is a bargain for what you get. I don't feel I have to pay an extra $100+ just to get a S/N on a mod. The other thing I like is that the GUS hasn't been cloned.

I'm going to bump this up with a question: It seems we know the GP Paps 2.5 center pin will work...but it's out of stock everywhere.

What other center pin can we use? Preferably available in the USA. I really don't care if it's a clone part or what...just want to simplify the Gus mod by removing one part that can break (i.e. blow).
