What products do yall use to polish / clean your mech mods?

Just curious what everyone uses to polish and clean brass and stainless steel?

I read that brasso can be used on brass as well as stainless steel, is this true? Is brasso safe and non abrasive enough for our mech mods?

I plan on picking up some stuff at the hardware store tomorrow, was just wondering what i should buy.

Hubby just used some Brasso on a few of his mods the other day - it worked really well!

I don't have any mods, but do have lots of brass and stainless steel around the house. What I like best is Wright's copper cream, which despite the name does a beautiful job on brass, chrome, and stainless steel. I tried it at first because the smell of Brasso bothers my allergies and keep using it because it does such a good job.

I use a buffing wheel and some solid waxes I have.
