I'm curious to find out what other folks use as a go-to setup when traveling. Right now (home or away) I pretty much stick with clearos (EVODs, Kanger T2s and T3s), but the leaking I get while traveling is driving me insane.
I travel 1-2 days a week for work, either flying or driving long-ish distances. The flights are a nightmare for clearos. On the drives, about half the time I have to head through the mountains so the pressure change wreaks a havoc similar to flying. Then, when I get wherever it is I'm headed, if I leave anything in the car it's often too hot/too cold and the leaking starts all over again....
About the best Ive found so far is to store the T2s/EVODs upside down with a Q-tip stuck in the mouthpiece while on the plane or as I go through the mountains. The leaking is still there, but a little less. Heaven forbid I forget tho, as I found out yesterday, because 1ml+ will leak out all over the battery in a heartbeat.
As a side note, I cant stand cartos so I haven't tried taking those on the road with me. Dont know why, I just dont like the feel of it when vaping them. Too airy, too muted, too much bacon-sizzling sound in the ones that I've tried. I havent tried a carto tank, but Im assuming they would have the same pressure-change leaking issues....?
