If you were going to vape all the time, then you would need to get at least 2 batteries, maybe a charging case aka PCC for charging on the go, a spare atty, and maybe a passthrough and a passthrough-capable AC to USB adaptor. But if you don't plan to vape all the time then a starter kit should be fine.
But don't forget juice and carts (or cartos - whatever your PV uses).
Re vapor - juices are PG base, VG base or a mix. Popular ratios are PG/VG 70/30, 80/20, and some like 50/50.
