Ok quick question about the s/b. I have been using it awhile and it just started misfiring. I tried pulling up the center pin, i check the insulator in the connector, everything looked ok. It worked some but didnt fire more often then not. I tore the head apart ripped all the glue out wiggled things a bit then put it all back in and it all works again. First real question is what do you guys think was wrong? And two does it really need glued again, and if so just regular old hot glue?

Most of the time with misfires...it's more often the contact under the switch that has 'moved'. Typically taping the switch will resolve this problem. But, with where you are at now. I would contact Support and see what Chad says

Sounds like the switch contact had shifted around a bit and the action of you moving it around a bit put it back in place, or the insulator had juice built up on the back side causing the soft short which would trip the battery circuit. As far as potting the switch back in, it would be best. And yes, hot glue would work fine. I use an industrial grade hot melt gun, but a standard craft hot glue gun should fit the bill, just make sure it is good and hot.

Well it worked for awhile. It has been put through hell so im not suprised its acting up. The only thing i cant get out is the connection. Is that just pressed in? I was thinking about removing everything and Blasting the paint off at work. Its looking ruff.

Yes the 510 connector is pressed in. If you need me to rebuild it after you blast it off, submit a support ticket and I can help you out . Sorry I have been away from the forum lately.

Thanks. And no worries about being away. Whenever i end up figuring out a refinish for it i will probably go ahead and open a ticket and have you guys fix it right just for piece of mind.
