I am a new and happy member to this forum :)
With this being said i have been vaping for a few years now and i feel like i have tried most combinations out there.
Here lies my problem.
I want a DNA mod. I know they have DNA 30's out right now but every place i find is either sold out or wants $360 for it.
Now comes the problem... I have the 360 dollars for the DNA 30 but another B&M shop has a DNA 20 for WAYY cheaper.

Is the extra 10 watts worth the extra $150ish dollars? I would be using the DNA with a carto tank or an IGO-W RDA

I have Mech mods, and tried sub-ohm with sony batteries and while it was nice getting great vapor production i see a lot of vapers using the DNA mods running around 1.2ohms and producing the same amount of vapor if not more, along with a better battery life and a regulated safer mod.

So what should i do? wait a couple weeks to get the DNA 30 for a horrific price, or just go ahead and buy the DNA 20 and use the nice power of just 20 watts?

Thanks all!

It really comes down to your personal vaping preferences. I have a DNA20 and am very happy with it. Regardless of the ohm rating of the coil you are using, the chip only regulates at a minimum of 4v. So if you have a 1.0 ohm coil at 4v you will be pushing 16 watt DNA30 allows the use of a smaller ohm coil in addition to the higher wattage etc. Here are links to the datasheets so you can compare.

Hmm. So as far as paper statistics go, they both go to a maximum of 8.3V. I would be mainly using my IGO-W RDA (because i like the flavor it creates). The only problem is with the 20 it wont fire anything below 1 ohm? but the 30 will fire down to .5ohms (different from what i have heard from users and reviewers) but non the less a very big difference. With 20 watts at 1 ohm would i still get the same great vapor production and flavor orgasms as i would with a .4 or .5 ohm coil on a mech?
My biggest problem is, like i stated, patience. I will be okay to pay the extra $70 to get the DNA 20 now instead of $70 and have to wait 4 weeks.

Is there any specific reason you love your dna 20 so much? Does it perform well with a RDA?

I'm just trying to figure out if the extra 10 watts makes a .... of a difference on a 1-1.8 ohm coil if they both can only go to 8.3v
