Hey people
At the moment im using a cheap ego-ce4 and when I went to buy a new tank thingymabob uploadfromtaptalk1401056318337.jpg I was shown one that you could unscrew the bottom and replace attomizer but he wanted 5 for it and 2 for replacements but I can get my current ones for 2 each
What am I best to do keep buying cheap ones, get this one he was on about or can you recommend some ones that would fit ?
Or a cheapish whole new replacement
Im from uk by the way
Also I was told that vg liquids can crack and destroy cheap ones is this true?
Thanks again

Well 100 percent VG tends to burn out coils faster i have found. i use 60/40 pg vg and a kangertech protank 2 and replace the coil every ten to 14 days depending on how much i vape. If the taste changes i just replace the coil. I have a store so i get the coils wholesale but a fair price would be a around a pound i guess. them ce4s are junky but cheap

VG isn't the culprit. Some flavours are known as 'tank busters' and are better vaped in a glass tank. But neither the VG or the PG crack tanks - not even the 'cheap' ones.
If you're happy with the vapor and flavor of the CE4 , nothing wrong with it.
Might wanna look into rebuildables, though.
Initial expense may sound high, but a good one will last a long time and will need only wicking material and kanthal wire to keep going.

I went with the GS-H2 units through ebay and got 5 for less than $8US. They are rebuildable bottom coil and vape nicely and using them to try the many flavors. At that cost I probably wont try and put in new coil heads. Using primarily 50/50 vg pg as that what is the usual blend here. Really like the wintergreen from BlackCloud and used 2 ml through a H2 this weekend without issue.

The new tank looks like a Kanger Mini Protank, but looks like it may be only the first version by the looks of it (no removeable mouthpiece) or a knockoff. Kanger Protanks are now in their third generation.

In general, the authentic name-brand gear in vaping tends to work better. Clones or knockoffs are very hit or miss when it comes to quality, dependability, and longivity.

Expect to change out the coil head/wicks every 1 - 3 weeks, or whenever the flavor tastes burnt or vapor production drops off. Replacement coil heads should be $2 - 3 each, and are model specific so be sure to order the correct ones. It's easy to replace them; watch a You Tube video for your device for the routine maintanance for each model you get.

Yes... it looks like a Kanger mini Protank. The version 1 is my favourite. I can't see if it's genuine....

They are about £8 these days. You can replace the coils (atomizer heads) for £1.20 per replacement.

...which, in answer to your question, should make it cheaper and better (glass tank) than CE4s. I'd put money on it vaping better too... a LOT better. :)

Well ive been vaping with it for just over an hour now and I must say its much better clearer taste I brought it for £5 and the bloke was very helpful showed me how to replace coil how do you tell if its genuine I remember seeing it labelled as a protank it has 2 air holes and you cant change tip/mouthpiece if that helps

It won't be genuine for £5. (not unless your vendor bought hundreds at a very special price). However, if it works, be happy! :)
