According to the FDA, one has to consume 5 mg a day of nicotine to become addicted to the substance. I used Carlton where one cigarette had .1mg of nicotine in it so I would have had to smoke 50 cigs a day to get addicted to nicotine and I was only doing 30 or 3mg a day--that is why contend that there are other addictive ingredients in cigarettes that we are unaware of. I agree with Sun about the extra chemicals. 4000+, is it? I think so. Anyway, I think my withdrawl from all of those other chemicals had much more of a profound impact on my body and mind than the absence of Nicotine ever would have. That's why all of my other attempts to quit using traditional NRT's always ended in complete failure. The reason (IMO) the e-cig seems to work where everything else I have tried would fail is because it does a much better job at giving my mind what it is expecting. It makes me feel like I'm still smoking. With everything else, all I could think about was the fact that I"M NOT SMOKING. With the e-cig, it's like having your cake & eating it too. It's like cheating yourself into letting go of tobacco. It is so completely cool that way. Ban or no ban, I will keep my e-cig! Let them try and take it away. Oh, by the way, I get the 36 mg all of the time. I still need it right now.

I heard that the 36mg was a bit strong but figured I'd try it out anyway. I use it much more regularly than the other strengths I have and have found that it's actually still weaker than traditional cigarettes. I accidentally left my juice at home when I went to the bar the other night and was forced to smoke for real or go without nicotine. I was fairly surprised that I didn't really enjoy the real cigarette anymore. It tasted bad and made my lungs feel fatigued before long :/

I cut the 36 but I cut it to different strengths and on rare occasion I might drip straight 36. Most of the time I'm probably vaping about 18 mg. But mostly I like having total control. If I want some 24, I can do that. If I want some 12, I can do that too. Saves me having to buy a bunch of different strengths and keeping up with all the bottles.
