What subforums do you belong to?

I noticed there was a vapin' moms sub forum modded by Sallana. Those of you with kids..check it out! Vapin' Moms

I belong to and mod "Wrecked and Bonkers", a silly name for a support forum for anyone with illness, mental ilness or those taking care of them. I posted when my mom was dying, it was a great help to me to let off some steam and reciev some wonderful support.

I also belong to the Florida vapers Club, we have had a few local meets..such fun meeting my fellow Florida vapers!
Look for a club in your area!

I joined Veggie vapers..but since my hubby won't eat veggie meals with me..it is hard to slip their recipes in!

The last, but not least is the U.S. E-smokers..but since I started with the Fl. one I don't visit anymore.

I wish there was a local club in my state.

Mary Kay: I'll come eat veggies with you ! I try to slip as many veggies in as I can at dinner, but if there's no meat on the plate, hubby goes looking for it !

Best thing..I adore veggies..Mike eats green beans, corn and peas..once in a while carrots if I drown them in brown sugar and asperagus if I drown it in cheese!
He wants HB, Steak and pork..chicken if we have to..as long as it is in chicken and dumplings or chicken cacciatore. KFC is ok too!

I am a member of several subforums. I really don't like subforums because you can only post if you are a member. This restricts people. I look at thread and they will be sponsored by a supplier and I have to be careful what I post.

I think its getting rather comfusing where and what you can post. Why can't we have subforum where anybody can post regardless of membership. What are the benefits of becoming a member of a subforum.

Well in here it helps to keep the Boyz out! In some forums that have more sensitive topics it helps to keep the smart mouths at bay. In Wrecked and Bonkers I would rather the whole board didn't comment when someone posts on a personal topic.

Some of the other subforums that are password protected..it does really help keep those that can't string 3 words together that aren't mean...out!
As far as I can tell in the State/City subforums..it helps to keep people from out of area from asking things like..how come I see so many people from Florida in here? Or where can I get some juice locally in the Cali forum when the person asking is from Maine. A lot of people just view the posts that are showing on the sidebar of the front page (lots of guys post in here because of that) or view the todays posts list. But they are one timers.

The suppliers forums are open to anyone..they are for asking and answering questions about their products or for the devotee's of that product to chat.

The main reason you are asked to join is to keep spammers out. Also Botts (automatic spammers). Most of the sub forums will not allow suppliers or associates to join..an effort to keep people from promoting their products.

We are one of the few who enjoy the privilege of having some suppliers and associates as members because they are women and have gotten permission from Smokey Joe (owner of this board) or Angusatt (admin).

In no way is it meant to exclude people..except in here..and even then some guys have asked to post in certain threads. It is just an extra step to take to allow people to post in their choosen sub-forum with some confidance that they will not have to defend themselves or be spammed at every turn. We have sub-forum mods (like me) to help maintain that sense of peace..the regular mods just can't do it all!

BTW all posts in every sub-forum except those that are password..invitation only , can be seen by anyone! All must follow the rules of the main board.

Toronto Area Vapers. Pretty small community, no one up here has even HEARD of 'vaping', even in passing..and they're arranging a 'get together'!

It would be GREAT if there was ever a Woman's Room get together. MaryKay, how much room do you have down there?

The board is being stupid today and won't let me start a new thread right now. But Trunkinglady would like to see more members in her sub Forum Cancer survivors. I KNOW some of you have had cancer touch your family or you personaly. Please join and help her get started! She has the required membership now and will soon have her forum posted on the front page.
I am not sure if anyone can post yet..I don't see a place, but it will be soon!
