Im asking because in my IBTanked tank the 801s stick up from the base of my eVic about a 1/4 inch because of the lip on the bottom of the 801s. Has anyone found a tank that can cover, or sit overtop of, that lip of the 801s? Pics would be nice if there are any!

I love the performance of these cartos, the ONLY problem is the eye sore of that gap inbetween the threads and the base of the tank.

Oh yeah, im talking about IKV 801 fusions, if that even matters.

I tried putting a pic of mine on here but my phone doesn't allow me to drag and drop, so pics are in my gallery if you want to know what im talking about.

I've sort of had the same problem. I've been using the IKV Platinums in my IBTanks and was curious to try the 801 Fusions because of them being their premium/flagship cartomizer and see if they were superior to the Plats I have.

I got a few with my most recent order of Plats, and had to find another 510-801 adaptor to use them as the stealth adaptor that IKV sells was out-of-stock (I see a trend here with IKV). It's not a stealth adaptor, so it adds even more length to the gap you are talking about.

Having said that, I'm not aware of a solution. After trying just two Fusions so far, the first carto was a total bust. It tested out correctly with the correct ohms when tested on the Provari, but the vape was so harsh it was unvapable. I wrote that off as a dud carto (it happens).

The second one has been in use in an IBTanked for over a week now with some Dripeez Golden Apple and Rum mixed together by myself, currently on its 3rd tank refill. I like this carto, but I can't say it is any better or worse than the Platinums. I'll just use the ones that I have left as a backup carto for when the Plats are out of stock.

By the way, there is a 510 version of Fusions now listed on the website, so when you order more Fusions get those.
