What Temperatures Do Atomizers Reach?

Does anyone know what temperature range the average atomizer runs at?

Just to clarify, I'm not talking about external temperatures, I'm looking for the temperature at which the heating element of an atomizer reaches.

Just stuck an infrared thermo in the atomizer of a 901 and blew through the battery to activate the atomizer. Got 164.5F.

Of course that is surface temp on the atomizer bridge and very different from what the coil temp might be.

Damn, I was hoping to mix some hash oil with some eliquid and have a cheap vaporizer for cannabis, because those can cost a couple of hundred alone, but the temperature needs to be at least 185 Celsius.

Oh whoops, I found the thread I didn't realize talk about using e-cigs for anything other then nicotine was not allowed until I saw it in the thread that I found in a search. I thought I had read the rules here but it must have been the rules at another e-cig forum that I read, because there only the discussion of illegal substances was restricted, as opposed to here where it's ANY substance other then nicotine. So if a moderator could please just delete post number 8 and pretend it was never there it would be greatly appreciated.

Found this thread pretty interesting,actually. Turned it up on a search where I was comparing analogs(1200 deg. Farenheit while dragging,so instant lung burn) to ecigs. Still warm, but my oh my how different.
