Ok so just now I broke out a clean carto, had them in a bag of rice since Friday, put juice in it, attached it to my PV, took a drag, nothing, no vapor at all. Is this what happens after u clean a carto, it stops working entirely??

I've never tried the bag of rice....but sounds to me like you didn't get all of the water out of it.
I personally use vodka when I clean cartos, but even then it's been kind of a hit and miss proposition.
But you might give cheap vodka a try. With vodka they dry out quicker...and if it dosen't work?.....well
atleast you can drown your sorrows with some vodka yourself.

Hmm, ok. Thanks. I dont buy vodka as I am a recovering alcoholic with 10 months clean. Thanks though.
Ive noticed when I wash and reuse my cartos I have to saturate them with liquid. When I come across a problem carto as you have, I do the following: fill carto as usual. Add a single drop of liquid into the center air hole and blow it out from the top. Napkin underneath. Attach it to my manual battery. Take 2 quick puffs, press the button a couple times just to warm the coil, 2 more quick puffs. I keep repeating this until vapor is produced. Then I top off the carto and 9 times out of 10 it works.
WHOA....please don't buy any vodka then. Much rather see you toss a few cartos than have that in your home, at least for the time being.
Have you tried the clear ce2 types? They're plastic and can be cleaned much easier. You can take them all apart, clean and reassemble in 5 minutes.

I have 5 phoenix clearos that have given me nothing but trouble after I cleaned them and took them apart. I plan to buy some ce3s from Discount Vapers and hope for the best!!

I can't tell if the flavor is lacking cuz ive never used this juice before. I am getting good vapor though!!!
Its Cola from Firebrand, I have never heard it but I got it through the rewards store on Best Electronic Cigarette Reviews - Top E-cig Brands Compared so it was free. Not bad, but not great either.
I feel compelled to ask, have you read the burning carto threads that show when a carto with wicking material quits performing like it should, it is usually because the diaper around the coil is BURNED and NO AMOUNT of cleaning will fix it. For the price of carto's I throw them and use a new one. In my opinion if you just want to change to a different flavor then cleaning works very well, but if it is not working like it should with a good amount of vapor and its not flooded and you have a good battery, then it is shot. Take one apart and look at the burned hole in the Diaper, that means it will never wick to the coil again like it should. I have learned this for over a year trying to clean carto's with filler material inside and reading the burning carto thread and have learned when to thow them out and reach for a new one. I hope this may help some of you. Just my opinion. Happy vaping.Lol, dont worry about it!!
